isn't this redundant?
Honestly, no...but you'd never know it. Country radio is even worse than rock in their unwillingness to play anything that might vary from what they consider "popular". Country radio has even completely abandoned it's heroes, and some of the legends like Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash have put out some of the greatest albums ever within the past few years, but you'll never hear them.

Cash's last 3 albums have been produced by Rick Rubin, and he's covered the likes of Soundgarden and U2, with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers as his back-up band, but it's deemed "Too Country" for rock stations, and "Too Rock and Roll" for country stations.

What a shame.

David Allan Coe has some pretty weird titles for his songs.

I agree with Gvac. Most country stations today just play crap...it all sounds like hillbillies trying to be pop stars. They never play any of the classic stuff by Cash or Nelson.
