If I could pick any four wrestlers in their prime for a dream stable, who would they be. We are not talking fame or championships as much as chemistry and entertainment.
Mine
1) Brett Hart
2) Jake Roberts
3) DDP
4) Chris Benoit

that is a great one.
If we follow the "horsemen model" a great stable should have:
The leader who is a star
The side-kick who is reliable
An up and coming star
A muscle guy
That's why some of the "dream stables" like some people would like: "Austin, Rock, HBK & HHH" are just impossible and silly.

i try to follow that model but a solid tag team is needed too; which why the Hogan stable is a joke.

Edge, Christian, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy - Version 1 (Reported by Matt Hardy to be the original idea)
Randy Orton, Mr. Kennedy, Edge - Rated RKO (R: Rated R Superstar, K: Mr. Kennedy, O: Orton)
Umaga, Vladamir Koslov, Khali, William Regal - The Empire

Jake Roberts-finally put the world title around his waist
Rick Rude (adding him would add to the conbustible nature of the team due to his beef with Jake Roberts, all good stables have situations that can come to a head amongst members at any moment plus only legit threat to Jake Roberts champion ship),
RVD-my favorite wrestler hell of a t-shirt seller
Vader/ Pyscho Sid/Koslov either one though being that the Belrus is a slight better fit because hes a brusier and a foreigner.

edge, at least on the show he did
i think it was right around the time mr kennedy won the mitb but got injured and edge wrestled him for the mitb case
not much after that him, vicki, chavo, ryder and hawkins and later that big muscle guy who i can remember his name
they never had a name, or called it a stable but edge called them the family a few times

My dream stable is the bWo dressed as KISS, which was way better than the actual band, and at least 1 of those guys was a decent wrestler, even if Nova really never got over.

Alright, I like this angle. So lets go with
a) Brett Hart
b) Brutus Beefcake
c) AJ Styles
d) Big John Stud
I like the tag team angle also, and would pick the Steiners.

Its a decent grouping, but you are dead-on that Lesner doesn't fit as the big guy.
What about using Bam Bam Bigelow? He'd definitely fit the different style of the rest.

I could see Roberts & Raven could be amazing together. The others (RVD, the Harts, Kid) don't fit at all.
Shouldn't a stable have a "feel", not just "guys I like"?
