I listen to Ron & Fez everyday, then listen to the O and A replay. The change in O and A's day has not effected the XM listener. These two shows are the reason I have XM. Without them, I would not have the 3 subscriptions that I do, my truck, wifes car, and my computer.

Ron and Fez noon to three then XM 57 Grateful Dead Radio
The XM is on something easy listening in the offices all day so I get my moneys worth.

by subscribing to xm and listening during 12-3 i support ron bennington.
xm is ronnie's main source of cash.
ronnie is the main source of laughter in my life.
i have no problem subscribing to xm because it will show on their numbers that i am always listening to ron and fez...
i also download on audible.com because at $40 a year...its cheap to have copies of ronnie ....he is the best.... he is my hero..

It's all I listen to. I even unscrewed the external antenna for my car stereo so I would have less interference for my Roady's FM Transmitter. Between car and online, I probably listen around 10 hours a day (less on the weekends).

My XMRO no longer works. I've been complaining for 2 days and get nothing but lip-service:wallbash:

Yeah, they changed the plans on Wednesday so it now costs $2.99 a month for the Online stream. It is also a pain in the balls to add it - you have to change your plan by going into your main account and adding the Online option, then you have to login to XMRO and pull the data over from your main account that you just added the Online charge to. It is a clusterfuck that took me 2 days to figure out.

I dont listen to XM. I listen to Audible's Ron and Fez and NPR. XM took away the pricing they promised me, and the punk rock station. I am no longer interested.

Are you using XaMp? That happens to me all the time. Usually shutting it down and restarting it will do the trick, although it has occasionally taken a few times for it to work right. I think there was a Windows update that impacted XaMp and they haven't gotten around to fixing it yet.

If you aren't using XaMp, then I don't know offhand. Cleaning out your internet temp files might help.

XM is huge for me. I have XM and the best of Sirius. Basically I listen to OnA, Ron and Fez, and pretty much ANY sports I want.
Now that the nascar pool started up, I can pop it on and find out where my driver is and whats good with the race while Im at work. Same for the golf tournies. and in the Fall I flip around between other football games with fantasy implications while I watch the Giants, and I listen to alot of sox games

weekapaugjz

i listen to it everyday. i listen to o&a on my way home from work in the morning and catch the replay when i can. i listen to ron and fez whenever i get the chance but am usually sleeping noon to 3 and catch the midnight replay when i can. i throw on the grateful dead channel and jam on when making dinner or playing x box. its usually always on when im at home and its the only thing i listen to in my car.

I subscribe through Audible.com and sometimes listen to old shows on Paltalk. I'm only interested in listening to Ron & Fez, not sure it would be worth subscribing to XM. ... Does XM have a 24/7 Ron & Fez channel?

Chaotic
03-13-2009, 07:18 PM
Yep! I haven't listened to terrestrial radio since 2004. I just put a lifetime subscription on my Xm Skyfi and a one year deal on my Xm Roady. 202 and the Nascar channel are all I listen too

absolutly, xm still has some exceptional non-top 40 country selections. grand ole opry , willies place, blugrass, outlaw( not as good as Xcountry, but adequate) 164 (dont play enough jack benny or bob hope) where else are you going to get that w/o major cash outlay ? xm realy helps my music shoping by reminding me whats been forgotten.

I listen as much as I can. The only way I enjoy the afternoon is with R&F and a nice bowl.

To those with problems listening online: Try changing the settings from 32K to 128 or whatever. As of late 32k never works.

Can I buy a cheaper package ?

$5.95 for JUST Ron & Fez ?

at first i would try other channels...
but i could live without them...

if the Buddays ever leave satellite... I'M GONE !
and if they go to another market...
hopefully, they'll be available on audible.com

i'll make the investment there
before i ever would with satellite without Ron & Fez

you can get the ONLINE ONLY service for about 7 bucks a month... but if you have a subscription already just call to cancel and they will likely offer you the year's subscription for 77 bucks for online & radio

with my recent luck, if I did that they would just say "okay" and pull the plug on me.

then change me extra when I try to renew my subscription

I think you can get a deal like that if you buy one of the new radios that can do the "Sirius/XM ala carte" deal. If I remember correctly, you can pick & choose any 50 channels for $6.95/month, but I haven't looked into it after learning that I'd have to buy a new radio & I'm kind of partial to the Samsung Helix.

I know that, but jimmyolsenblues seems to think they always know what he is listening to.

I am pretty sure that they have the technology to figure out what every receiver is listening to but I am not sure if they use it.

Edited to add

I still have XM the unit is in a box in the closet I mostly listen online or record the online stream for listening on my iPod at my convenience. I'm most likely going to cancel soon I only use it for 202, 100 &101 and I can easily get those shows other places.

speaking of which, i gotta update my xmonline cuz my subscription doesn't include it anymore (now that they decided to charge extra!)
