I love, love Metalocalypse but the Coach McGuirk character is so funny and timeless.
Besides, Home Movies episodes are longer and the storylines are more developed.

Brendon Small is a fucking genius. The Duncan Hills coffee jingle from Metalocalypse is a amazing. It's like comparing Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel ceiling to his Last Judgment. One is a complex body of work with rich themes, and the other is striking, slightly chaotic, and smaller. Both great but one's greater.

It's hard to pick but I have to go with Metalocalypse. I think Brendon would pick Metalocalypse over Home Movies too because he gets to put all his own original Metal music into each show so it's like twice the creative outlet that Home Movies was.

If Metalocalypse had only run for one season I would have picked it. The music is fucking ace and it was generally funny every week. No single Adult Swim episode beats the first Metalocalypse of the first seasob. But between the scarcity of new episodes this season, and the fact that most of them have been dogshit, I'm picking Home Movies.

That's what I think the coolest part of Metalocalypse is. It's some nerdy dude and he makes some pretty legit metal songs. I listen to Dethklok by itself sometimes it's so good.

I wasn't big on Metalocalypse orginally, but after more time with the show it's pretty good. The music rips. So good.

I'm the same way. I wasn't a fan of it initially. But lately I'm really enjoying the show, and it's characters are starting to grow on me.

Hilarious stuff like Nathan's gravely voice is like that ALL THE TIME, Dethklok can't do common everyday stuff right, everything Toki, and the secret Tribunal that rarely do anything except "watch" and/or "observe" Dethklok shenanigans while introducing so-called "specialists" with weird names are the few things I love about the show.

Yah, good points! I liked the first ep of BB's but it needs to get out of the shop a little more. The dialogue, the cornerstone of all their work, was awesome in the first ep though!
