Part I. In every scene Brando is in it's impossible not to watch, no matter how many times you've seen it.

DAMN IT, I wanted to vote for II, but i got this confused with the BTTF poll and voted I by mistake

I voted 2, because I liked how they went back in time with DeNiro and explained why things ended up they way they did.

QFT.

But the correct answer is "The Godfather Epic" which plays I and II in chronological order (no flashbacks).

I don't even understand why III would be an option.

I personally don't think it's a bad movie unless it is compared to I & II (which you can't help doing)

I voted II.

I think III's still bad even if you don't compare it to I & II. The plotline is a mess, and we all (rightfully) slaughter Sophia Coppola for her performance in it, but Al Pacino is deep into his "I'll just scream all the fucking time" mode by the time this one's made, and his performance here is a pale imitation of I & II. Like the movie itself.

I voted for II and like it was mentioned before, even though III can't compete with the first two it's not completely unwatchable.

I totally agree.. but honestly, whenever I or II are on, I have to watch. I can not turn it off

Godfather III couldn't be any more ridiculous. They let costs remove Tom Hagan from the story which was an awful decision as the entire movie is about Michael, rather than about the "family". And the whole church thing is the dumbest grab for "meaning" that I've seen in a movie in quite some time.
