Honestly, I'm Irish Catholic ethnically, and I cannot for the life of me remember what we called taking a shit, but I famously remember we grew up with taking a piss being called 'wetting' which me and my brother erroneously thought was 'wedding' and we never understood why our parents called taking a piss getting married (probably ruined us) until adulthood when we realized the difference.
