Oh I know! I wasn't saying that because he let RW go. I meant collectively over the last 10 years I'd say the majority of his moves were terrible decisions (Quincy Carter, TO, Roy Williams, Pacman, etc.). Either the personnel or the contracts were bad choices or risks. The ones that worked out he almost lucked into or Parcells talked him into.

Roy Williams should have been dumped 2 years ago

Have fun with this wackadoo this season disney!
(From the Dallas News)
Cowboys have no interest in moving up into first round
2:08 PM Thu, Apr 23, 2009
Any time an NFL decision maker talks the week of the draft, there's a decent chance that he's fibbing. However, Jerry Jones sure was convincing when he said that the Cowboys have no intention in bundling their picks to trade up into the first round.
"One of the reasons we made the Roy Williams trade was to stay out of the first round -- stay out of the first round," Jerry said during today's press conference inside the new stadium, citing the unique financial challenges of signing a first-round pick.with an uncapped season looming.
Jerry warned that Saturday would be a "slow day," indicating that the Cowboys would be fine with waiting until the 51st overall pick to go on the clock.
OK, but with all those picks in his pocket, can Jerry really stand to be patient?
"We're going to put him in a straitjacket," Stephen Jones cracked.
There will be plenty of time and opportunities for trading Sunday, when the Cowboys have 10 picks. They can't trade their two compensatory selections, but Jerry will be ready to wheel and deal with the rest.
"We'll be in a controlling position of the draft," he said.
And I can't find the a quote but I just heard audio on the radio this morning of Jerry following up a draft comment by his son by saying, "it's like having a pet cat and everyone says meow, meow..." something like that. The dude is losing it. He's MEOWING in press conferences.

I love how jerry puts himself front and center in the cowboys draft room, it lets you know his fucking ego is bigger than anyone else in the NFL, cant someone close just grab him and say "jerry you dont know shit about football, the only time you won is when you let someone else make those decisions for you"
Then again, its nice to see the cowgirls choke year after year.

They showed the draft room when the Cowboys were skipped in the 2nd round and Jerry Jones wasn't even in it. He walked it right after they finalized the trade. He was on screen less than 30 seconds out of the 5+ minutes they showed the war room yesterday.

The first time the showed it this morning he was front and center in the tables, that empty seat youre seeing between wade and general manager? Thats his, hes a fucking ego maniac, dont ever deny that he thinks he knows better than the GM or coach, its why I seriously doubt that someone like shannahan will ever end up there, he will have to give up too much control to the coach.

Jesus was dallas's draft that bad? Everyone is giving it Ds and Fs, then one guy on ESPN said that dallas just drafted their special teams lineup, ouch.
Jerry needs to step back and let someone else run the team and just sign the checks until he does that dallas fans will have very little to cheer about.
Although getting rid of TO seems to be a good addition by subtraction.

I literally live blocks from the practice facility. That was really scary yesterday. At least 2 spinal/back injuries (I think they were both coaches, one of them Dan Reeves son) and a pole fell on one of the kickers. We happened to be out at Target when the storm hit, it was really like a hurricane just touched down for about 10 minutes and then it calmed down again. I guess that's what a "microburst" is. On our way home we were surveying damage, like downed trees and when we drove by Valley Ranch, we freaked out. The whole thing was just on the ground and this is a structure you can see from miles and miles away. The first thing I said was I hope no one was practicing but a rookie mini camp was going on with about 70 people total. Thanks God it wasn't the whole team. This could have been terribly tragic.

Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo Split
Tony Romo broke up with Jessica Simpson on Thursday, the night before her 29th birthday, a source close to the pop star tells PEOPLE.
"She is heartbroken," says the source. "She loves Tony. But it's been difficult lately. He's busy with his career and she's getting ready to shoot her show (The Price of Beauty). They decided to part ways."
The Dallas Cowboys quarterback fueled breakup rumors when he showed up with about 14 friends at the Hollywood hotspot MyHouse on Friday night without the birthday girl, a source tells PEOPLE.
"He had quite a few girls stop by his dance floor table," says an onlooker. "Romo was sipping Grey Goose and having a fun time with the boys."

I can't wait for this to bite Jerry in the ass. :devil2:
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4428556
Basically, it's a do-over.
The NFL has ruled on what happens if footballs hit the massive video display board that hangs over the field at Cowboys Stadium.
The down will be replayed and the clock will be reset.
The replay official will have the power to institute a booth review without a coach's challenge to determine if a ball has hit the video board.
Coaches, however, can also throw a red flag to challenge on close plays.
Commissioner Roger Goodell said that the Cowboys have been very cooperative and that the league and the team will continue to work on a long-term solution to the issue.

Oh havent you heard the latest Jerry Jones spin. he was on the radio today and said "Teams in the NFL never punt down the middle, thats just crazy. Every team in the league kicks directional punts on every punt or they just arent a good team."
I cant wait for my delusions to set in

It was a 1st, 3rd, 6th and 7th in 2010 for Williams. Went to the SF game to check out the stadium.. tailgate lot was $45, if you split it 4 ways you stop crying sooner. Beautiful Death Star though, alot of glass and flat screens - I heard there was like 700 in the stadium. $9 Burger but it was huge and it was grilled perfectly, that's all I cared about..and a play-off win.

I'm sure it is great, I will be there September 20th and will take pics and post them here. It's just fun busting Jerry's balls. Especially after the video board debacle aka the Screen Monster.

I think the $50-75 was parking for cars pretty close to the Death Star, we found a taigating lot, it was little far out and it was in a weird section of the grounds, the guy said things and prices could change for the reg season, you'll have a great time

AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!! This victory was sooooo sweet.
Now for the stadium review. Impressive, monstrous but disappointing in some regards. First off was the lowly general public areas. I'm sure the club and luxury areas are great but there was not ONE sit down restaurant or any higher class type food than a burger or hot dog. Just regular old concessions. Secondly, you couldn't just walk around the stadium. You were restricted to your one little area unlike most stadiums where you can walk the perimeter. I don't even want to mention the fiasco of trying to catch a cab after the game. Let's just say we didn't get home until a good 2+ hours after the game. But there were some great things and it looks great. Behold...

Good to see T.O.'s keeping it classy:
Owens re-tweeted a 140-character missive originally written by someone on Twitter named Deidric McGowan, saying, "Dallas just found out they had a T.R. problem not a T.O problem !!" The comment was obviously a reference to Romo's 13-of-29, 127-yard, three-interception effort in a loss to the Giants.
Which is probably true enough, but since what I've seen of TO so far this season makes it appear that his tendency to drop balls has gotten even worse, I'm not sure he's the best messenger here.

Apparently, even Cowboys fans aren't stupid enough to want to pay $29 to stand around and watch the game on TV, like nearly 30,000 fans who bought a "Party Pass" did.
Roughly 29,999 of the 30,000 people who paid $29 to wander around Cowboys Stadium on Sunday night were left disappointed by the fact that crowded concourses, blocked access, and long bathroom lines meant they paid $29 for standing room tickets to a TV. Those were the lucky ones. Many folks didn't even get inside, because they were under the mistaken impression that a "ticket" gives you access to an event and not just access to the "plazas outside the party decks" which are not actually inside the stadium. Fine print!
It's good to see that they kept it all in perspective, though, as this one fan does:
"Absolute Disaster. That's it. Concession lines were way too long, bathrooms were overcrowded, it reminded me of the Superdome after Hurricane Katrina."
I know it sucked and Tony Romo played like dogshit, but, no, it's not like the Superdome after Hurricane Katrina, douche.

The way the Cowboys go to shit as soon as the calendar flips to December is just one of the damndest things in sports.
The only sort of explanation I could come up with is perhaps conditioning issues. But other teams don't do this.

They'll be fine. They only have to play the Chargers, Saints, @ Redskins and the Eagles the last 4 weeks. No problem.

So let me get this straight. All these recent missed extra points and field goals are a HOLDING problem and not a KICKING problem???? Right.
Now they are replacing the holder and guess who is most likely taking over? Tony "Nice Hold, Bitch" Romo. http://www.star-telegram.com/332/story/1819822.html

Let's see how excited you are if/when a playoff rematch occurs.
That's considering you can get through the 1st round of the playoffs.

if they can beat them once(and lets face it they dominated that game) then they can beat them again. and i wouldve posted more during the game bit i was at a friends house and it wouldve been rude to use her computer, plus i dont want her to know i post on a messageboard and i dont need to worry since i have friends that know my password and will post for me

What looked like domination early ended in a 7 point win.
Don't forget the Saints outscored the Cowboys 17-10 over the last 45+ minutes of that game.
Dallas played a great game and didn't turn the ball over once but if you think Romo's got 2 games in him where he'll play on the road and not turn the ball over you might want to cross your fingers.
The Saints were ripe for the picking as you could see from the previous 2 games so it may almost be a blessing that they lost.

i thought the bet was the same as last year which was the cowboys weren't going to make the playoffs. if you want to give me a grace period, i'll take it but i think i lost.

It's great isn't it? And if they don't make any significant changes I'll be licking my chops for next season's drama.
You sure you want to make the same bet for next year disney? I'm giving you a chance to get out of it, because it will be much worse next year.
not only will they make the playoffs, they will win a game
So are you upping the stakes to making the playoffs plus winning a game? I'll take that all day.
done,i'll have a year to learn how to make sigs and avies for ya,i see a pic of eli that says SPY'S BITCH on the way
