Rock Band 2 Drum Help

Ok, so I got Rock Band 2. The Drums have the silencers built in. I live in a house with an apartment on the bottom that some older then dirt woman is living. Apparently, she hears me drumming and complained b/c she is trying to sleep/watch TV. I can understand if its late at night. But this was at 5pm. Its unfair. I spent my money on this for a reason. And now, I cant play the Drums? She NEVER EVER leaves her place so I cant wait till she goes out or anything. My only option is to play in the living room, which is above a garage. But I'm not lugging my PS3 between rooms just to play RB Drums.


What can I do? Is there like...a platform I can put underneath the Drums stand that will absorb the sound?

if you really want, get some Dynamat, which is car audio insulation and use that as a mat to put the drums on.

I love that idea. Cept I dont know if that can work. I prob should have mentioned the house we live in, we are renting it. We rent the top half, she rents the bottom half. So, I dont know if the landlord would have to get involved.

I bought the Rock Band Drum Silencer Pads, and they block out tons of sound. They lay on top of the drum pads. Dunno if the silencers built in is what you mean, but these are extra pads.

I would put some carpet underneath the drums, and then tell her to go screw. These things are really quiet. Tell her you have a life and live it and are as much as a paying tenant as she is. These things are quiet. If the landlord gets involved, tell them that you never play late at night and that shie is nitpicking and not liking you. Your landlord wioll understand that young people do have lives and are active.

Unless she is hearing the actual sound of the stick hitting the pad and not the sound of the stick hitting the pad richochet down the pipes of the stand down to the floor. If so, she must have dog ears.

Fits both. I have Rock Band 2. Game works fine.

I would keep chuggin' along like normal. Let her complain to the landlord, and state that you have taken the proper avenues to resolve the noise issue BUT complain to him that she has yelled and stopped you to complain about your walking being too loud for her. Tell the landlord that her "harassment" is not appreciate. She's old and thinks she is privileged because of it.
