I had a bunch of the M.U.S.C.L.E. figures. The you can shave the baby/East Side Dave doll is quite odd.

Those were truly awful. I still think Teddy Ruxpin deserves a spot. This thing really creeped me out for some reason.

I'm not sure if this is real or not. But if it is, I'm getting it for Dave (oh, and for his kids too).

Did anyone have one of these? I aways wondered about something...I know you put a tape in his back to make him "talk," but were they speciially sized or designed cassettes? Or could you slap any cassette tape in there to make him work? Make Teddy rock out to some Motorhead or something.

A neighbor of mine had one and the answer to your question is yes...You can put any tape in there and the bear would talk along to it.

We used to put Andrew Dice Clay tapes in his.

Hilarious!

Like the random tapes in teddy ruxpin, there was a modification on the Graham Norten show so whenever he did a phone interview it would run through a stuffed dog whose mouth moves and ears wiggle- the only one I know was a man with a balloon fetish, truly disturbing.

I see your Teddy Ruxpin and raise you Baby Loves to Talk, of which I couldn't find a photo in the 10 seconds I spent searching.

Those creepy eyes with the way they shifted and blinked ... oh, and the annoying, high-pitched "kiss baby!" that wouldn't stop until you smacked it in the head...creepy.

Graham Norton is quite possibly the funniest talk show(chat show in the UK) host on tv right now. Awesome show and very funny clip.

Instead of Dice my brother and I put a Kinison tape in my sister's, put it back next to her bed, and listened for her to start it up. We laughed, she cried (it had read along stories you could buy) and my mom tore up the tape.
