I was actually wondering about this a week or two ago.
I was at '99, and despite the corporate bullshit, it was an AMAZING weekend......
Trouble is, i cant think of any bands worthy enough to fill 3 days of music.

I predict a perfectly executed festival experience completely without incident.

"Reloaded?"
That kinda misses the point.

Do these people know how to read? Do they have any idea what the original Woodstock stood for or what the people there were trying to do? Do anyone attached to this know our own music history?
I don't mind someone putting on a huge commercial music festival but for God's sake stop misusing the name Woodstock for your huge corporate function, please.
It makes you look even sillier than you are.

I worked at a Sunoco station on the thruway at my first summer job in "99 and we caught them all on the way back when it was over. You'd never seen a bigger parade of scumbags and hippie wannabes coming off of a three day drug high. The line for gas was all the way down the exit for the rest area for hours. Some stupid scumbag bitch tried to accuse me of giving her change for a $20 when she'd actually giving me a $50... Line out the door in that little shitty cubicle thing and I had to pull the drawer and count it right there. Of course she didn't give me a $50 as I had none in my drawer. Hope the bitch died of a herion overdose. She kept addressing me by my name over and over saying how she gave me a $50 I DON'T KNOW YOU! DON'T CALL ME BY MY NAME JUST BECAUSE IT'S ON MY FUCKING SHIRT YOU CUNT! It was a pretty sweet shirt though, assholes made me give them back at the end of the summer. Cheap skates.
They ALL fucking smelled too. ALL of them.

I went in '99 and it was awesome. And I managed to get out before the fires.
People are fucking.retarted if they didn't bring their own water in the heat of summer. That always bothered me. You didn't have to pay 4 bucks for a water if you brought your own. And those same idiots that paid 4 bucks for water threw the full bottles around during a couple of concerts. All in all the last one was a good time. I saw some great bands, got atoned, did some camping, and caused some trouble. I'd go again.
I just recently watch Nine Inch Nails performance from Woodstock 94 and it was even better than I remember it. That being said, 99 was such a cluster fuck I don't know why anyone would want to try it again unless it is to set the world gang rape record.

I was still doing RV clean up when we got rentals back from peopel who rented to go to the one of the last Phish concerts.
Everyone of the things came back fucking filthy. There was at least 4 RVs that went and everyone of them looked like motherfucking scumbags lived in them. They left food in the little refrigerator which is gross because when you turn it off it can turn into a heated petri dish of disgustingness. Everyone of them tracked mud all over the entire inside of the living space and the front driving cab area.
You wouldn't treat your homes like that. You wouldn't even treat motel rooms like that, you fucking scumbag cunts.
I wasn't even happy they all got wacked with an extra charge because I still had to clean them. Thanks for the pubes in the shower drain too, scumbags.

i went to 99 & it was a disaster. the location was so retarded. there was barely any shade anywhere & we were basically lying around surrounded by concrete and frying like eggs. they over charged for everything imaginable. i left right after the last act & managed to miss most of the fires & pillaging. i wasn't apart of any of it & i don't think the way the masses acted was right, but i understood a lot of their frustration. i have no idea why anyone would want to go through that again. the last one really ruined it for me. & i also agree that i couldn't think of any bands worth seeing that could fill 3 days of music.
