I know we have some Bauhaus fans on the board, so I thought I would post my latest greyhound foster since that is his name. He's a super sweet boy and if he wasn't already claimed by an adopter i'd be seriously tempted to keep him.

excellent name, cute dog.
I think you should name your next dog Einsturzende Neubauten or Eine for short.

Sadly we are not renaming our dogs with themes anymore, so my previous foster was named Wendy.

I had some Bahaus Foster at Brennan's a few months ago. It was delicious.

What a great name! I'm glad he found a home!
Is greyhound rescue a big thing around B'more? My former in-laws rescued two former racing grey hounds named Sadie and Lady (they were adopted seperately so the rhyming names were a coincidence). They were so sweet and had a great temperment, but they were afraid of garden hoses (because they were harshly hosed down after a race).

Not any bigger than anywhere else. We have a bunch of groups, but there isn't a nearby track (WV is the closest state with racing).
I hadn't heard the hose thing. I hear a lot of things randomly from people. They don't have a lot of experiences while they are racing--they don't know stairs, some haven't seen glass windows. I had a foster that was afraid of the ceiling fan at first--there's no track correlation to that fear.
But having picked up many directly from kennels at the track (transported via a custom hauler) I am very suprised there are kennels out there that care that much about their cleanliness to hose them down at all. Most are not clean when get them...

He is probably the same weight as Peter Murphy.
Great name and very happy to hear that the happy guy found a happy, deserving home.
I wish him the best!
