View Full Version : Sad news about the Brain...

Dave Meltzer is reporting that Bobby Heenan is suffering from throat cancer. He's getting radiation therapy for it, but as of yet there's not really any word as to how severe the illness is or how the treatment is going.
I know my thoughts and prayers go out to Bobby. IMO, he was the best color commentator that the business has ever seen. Nowadays, we have Lawler, who is a poor, pale imitation of himself, drooling like the lech that he is over every female that appears on the screen.
Lawler leers over Stacy Keibler, while Bobby gets throat cancer. There's no justice in the world.

I was wondering why the WWF didn't hire him back after Wrestlemania. I guess we know why. This is horrible news. I wish him all the best, and I hope he has a full recovery.

Prayers and only good wishes to hIm and his fam....."LONG LIVE THE WEASEL".No not Paulie Shore....THE MANAGER OF ANDRE THE GIANT..
Always hated the good guy rasslers and in my book that kicks major pain ass. Lawer
is awful.. The brain ruled the announce table.. Whoever he was co-hosting with he was center stage.. Remeber when Hogan returned to the red and yellow and the real american
theme came on... It was classic Bobby"NEVER CROSS THE HIGHWAY"
where the love meets the hate.
the rollercoaster ride you've been waiting for. this ain't your muthers hallmark cards.... no roses are red hear... shall we begin

i love the brain, especially how he always hated hogan whether he was good or bad. Lawler is the money too though, him and ross will go down as the best tandem ever. i thought the heenan family was the f'n best

Bobby Heenan is awesome... He along with Vince McMahon changed the way wrestling was broadcast over the television... I think that it was his talent that paved the way for Lawler's schtick.
He'll be back... if not as an announcer.. in the very completely forgotten, but will be revived WWF Hall Of Fame.
