Anyone have:

1. Wii

2. RPG's they really enjoy to play on it.

Or

3. RPG's that they play on something else that might be also on Wii.

Or does anyone like a particular RPG at all let's say?

Christ. I know how to narrow it down.

RPGs? On the Wii? HA!

There aren't any.

I haven't played any but there are a few coming out. Rune Factory: Frontier I believe is out and I hear that it's an RPG. Might be a game you'd want to check out.
Arc Rise Fantasia is suppose to come out this year and the trailer I saw for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Crystal Bearers on wii looks awesome.

There aren't any.

Okami is borderline one (and a very good one), although it's more of an adventure game.

But yeah, there's pretty much none.

There's not even really any good ones on Virtual Console. Secret of Mana, that's about it.

Square needs to get off their ass and re-release some of the NES and SNES stuff. A Chrono Cross port to VC would be extra nice. I'd pay prime dollars for that.

They are making Dragon Quest X for the Wii but that was only announced at the end of 2008 so who knows when it will be released.

Crono Cross was the PS game. But I know what you mean. Chrono Trigger on the Virtual Console would rape wallets everywhere. Hopefully Chrono Trigger DS sales convince them.

Rune Factory is farming/town like Harvest Moon. It's more like a sim.

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn is decent. It's a tactics game but it still satisfies that equip-and-level-up bug if you got it.

The Tales of Symphonia sequel is excellent.

It seems there's a dearth.

How about first person shooters?

I was in Target today and noticed a laser rifle.

That looked pretty cool.

Any experience with that? or games that are good in that sense?

An aside:
I also walked away from a TV screen they had advertising the "Wii Rock Band for Families" and I said aloud "That's the funniest thing I've seen in the twenty first century"... there's a short 3 second shot of the family playing as though you're watching from the TV. Hilarious. They're all holding the nunchuck controllers - all four ... Mom, Dad and two kids - and playing the game.

No dopier scene could be staged.

Phantasy Star II is on the Virtual Console. Definitely an epic RPG from the Genesis.

Looking for a FPS? there is only one worth playing and that is Metroid Prime 3. Anyone who owns a Wii and doesn't own it is going to H-E-double hockey sticks.

I believe New Play Control! Metroid Prime is suppose to come out soon. It's the original Metroid Prime with added wii controls. That game rocked and can only be made better with wii controls.

I also heard the Wii Resident Evil 4 adaptation is excellent.

Bland and unbalanced. Only worth buying back in the day because there was time before the next killer app (Banjo Kazooie)

I liked the last Zelda. Its why I got the Wii. Next up will be FF. Still waiting for the "big one" as far as this new generation of hardware is concerned when it comes to RPG's.
Having said that, I am having fun with Disgea 3 on PS3. Its a real time waster, but that's what I was looking for.

No I meant Chrono Cross.

They could easily port it to the Virtual Console, and Square owns the right so it wouldn't be a problem with Sony.

I fully expect them to port Chrono Trigger...the key would be getting Cross, though, because that game owns all.

That ain't gonna happen. Where would you store it? The Wii has 512MB of internal storage. That's not enough to store one CD, let alone 2.

IF it shows up anywhere it will be as a PSOne classic on the PSN.
