I often find myself watching these, but I don't know why. I can even watch the same one that I've seen 10x previously. I used to watch home shopping club also for the same reason I can't turn off infomercials. As awful as they are, there is something hilariously entertaining about them.

I know I'm not the only one, so, I must ask, what are some of your favorite infomercials?

Absolutely, I have watched the magic bullet infomercial many times and enjoyed it. Now if only I could make a tasty pasta pesto in under thirty seconds...Or margaritas for breakfast...

We used to watch that one all the time in college -- along with the Richard Simmons Deal-A-Meal informercial ("I couldn't fit on the rides at the carnival!") and the Grillerie ad with Ricardo Montalban.

I wish the Amazing Discoveries infomercials still ran, I used to watch them constantly.

There was also a great one from the late 80s for a mandolin slicer that may have just been called The V Slicer.

I love the Time-Life oldies CD sets that they sell. There was a good one a couple years ago called "Malt-Shop Memories" that was really good. The one now with Bowser (Oldies But Goodies, I believe) in his loose black cutoff shirt to hide his 60 year old gut is alright, although its starting to annoy me. It's about time they come out with a new one.

They were the new era of infomercials when they debuted. The first one I remember was for (forgive the spelling, I have no idea how it was spelled) "Hashipor 9000" or some shit, it was essentially Didi Seven years before Didi Seven even hit the market.
