Is this guy a F*CKIN' traitor...or is he just a misguided youth!?
I say...kill the traitor!
My grandfather was at WAR at 16 and he KNEW what the f*ck he was doing...when my soldiers are deployed as part of the RANGERS to fight the Taliban, Al Queta and the rest of those Fs they will know what they are doing.
That bastard was fighting the US...he was there when a great American, and CIA agent was beaten to death....how do we know that that F*ck was not the one to beat our CIA agent's brains out!?
I am pissed off...PISSED OFF!!!!!!!
Its barely been a few months and we are going to forget all that happened.
Dead or forgiven as misguided...God forgive me...I would kill that bastard!!!!!
and oh by the way...A SPECIAL FORCES SOLDIER WAS KILLED TODAY!!!!!!!!!!

Traitor, all the way.
I work with people in a veterans organization, and I have nothing but respect for those who have served their country honorably. Any citizen who reaches the age of 18 in our country is considered to be an adult and capable of making his own decisions. Walker made his decision, and therefore, should be treated as an enemy of the US. Whether or not he is put to death or merely imprisoned is a matter of what his involvement was. If he pulled the trigger or contributed to the death of one of our soldiers, I'd vote for the DP.

Probably the best (safest) thing for him is that we lock him up for many years. Execution is too easy for him. Another option is just to let him go - he would not be able to make a living here in the US (would anybody hire this guy?).
Here is what I suggest we do....sort of like a game (or the movie Running Man).
First we drop him off in Omaha Nebraska
Tell him he is free to go if he can make it outside of US borders (strip him of his citizenship - not allowed back)
Announce to the country that he is free game (can kill him without penalty).
Vegas can establish odds with respect to how many miles he makes it from Omaha. I don't think he would make it too far.

no goofy answer, no wacky torture scenerio.
What Should Happen: Treason, death.
What Will Happen: He'll get off, write a book, do the Oprah/Barbara circuit, get millions, get sympathy. Sweet deal. I should have thought of it.
Also, is it just me but if it's really that easy for an American to get in to the Taliban, did we have any spies we can send there?...Unless walker was a spy who got brainwashed (stop with the theories, stop with the theories, stop with the theories)

Death penalty, no questions asked. It is not a matter of making him feel pain or exacting vengeance, it is merely a logical conclusion. We should not spend one thin dime caring for and clothing this man, and don't give me statistics on how it costs more to kill him than feed and clothe him for 50 years. I don't want to hear it.

I was always told that the penalty for treason or desertion was death. So, he should be tried, convicted, and put to death.

My personal feelings? Yes, he should die. Or at the LEAST, he should waste away in prison for the rest of his worthless life. He committed treason against this nation, and I can not forgive that.
But of course he will get off. There are those who are already sounding the horn to save this bastard, and I hate to say it, but the most vocal of his supporters are the bleeding-heart liberals. I usually watch the McGlaughlin group every weekend, and Eleanor Clift was spouting a line of bullshit about how Walker is innocent because he's been brainwashed. THIS is the kind of shit we're going to have to deal with. This cumstain is going to return to the States, become a superstar, and probably wind up having a better life than most of us.

at the risk of sounding redundant... the traitor should die. this is one of the most ridiculous things i've ever heard - i can't even imagine how anyone could disagree. there is no other reasonable conclusion for this sort of thing. except maybe for torture...

Those people who are saying he was brainwashed would probably plead the cases for the ones who flew the planes into the WTC and Pentagon too. It's one thing if someone grabbed you out of your home and forced you to do something against someone else, but when you voluntarily join up with them, that's not brainwashing, that's being open to their beliefs (namely that Americans should die).
I watch the news and there is always someone who wants to think that someone like Walker was brainwashed, and they never have any proof, back-up or anything. There are some people who don't want to be saved. There are people who will fight us to the death. There are people who hate us because that's what they've been brought up to believe. Walker should not be given any special treatment because he WAS an American. He chose a road, there are consequences at the end of that road.

As much as I turned to our own historical guerilla past. There is no defending this man. Had he been just a regular guerilla, that would be one thing. But he is a self professed al qaida member. Part of an organization, whose leader actively calls for the death of Americans and destruction of the USA. There should be no mercy given for any al qaida member. To be a freedom fighter in your own country is one thing. To actively search out and kill innocents, deserves the death penalty.
You arent freedom fighters. Your nothing but inhuman assassins. Die the death of a traitor, not because you turned your back on America, but because you turned your back on humanity.
Hangem high!
Go ahead make my day

i can't even imagine how anyone could disagree. Here's how people can disagree. It's not his fault. Why isn't it his fault? Well he was too young to make a conscious decision. He was brainwashed, he was taught things, he was forced to do things against his beliefs and he essentially became no longer his own person. Luckily, thank God for American soldiers because their bullets flying past his head made him realize that he'd been doing wrong.
And his liberal parents who are all like "I want to hug him but also gift him a swift kick in his behind" should get two in the back of the head as well for not realizing that there's something wrong with your kid going off two Afghanistan for four year while he's still legally under your protection. I don't buy the entire "blame the parents all the time" crap either but sometimes...
this son of a bitch is going to be a superstar.

Not that I have any sympathy for Sand Thugs (American or otherwise) I still don't see what we gain by killing the guy. His life is sad enough.

I am strongly against the death penalty, however there is no debate about whether or not this guy is guilty of treason. If he isn't guilty of treason then who is? Did he take up arms against the US? Then I don't care how old or brainwashed he was.

Of course his life is sad. Anyone who lives like an animal, and can justify the slaughter of innocent human beings necessarily lives an angry, empty existence.

Regarding whether he's guilty of treason or not- here's the definition right from the US Code
Title 18, Part 1, Chapter 115, Section 2381
Treason
"Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned..."
I'd say he adhered to an enemy of the US...

The only person that should die is the fuckwad that is posing as me. What did you think, that you would get away with this? I think not. It is a scummy thing to pose as someone else, my friend. I put in a lot of time on a board i won't mention here, and i think i deserve some respect.

I say they should keep every prisoner they get in jail for life...including bin laden...many people think just killing these people is the answer..but in truth...thats exactly what they want us to do...and since when do you get to choose your punishment after you pull some horiffic crimes? They want death so give them life. Killing these people will only make them Martyr's in their heads and others minds. Killing these people will not change anything nor will it bring back anyone who was killed.
