Jason Ellis & Ron&Fez

Like most people with XM, I tend to listen to 202 and 1 or 2 music stations. I just started to listen to the Jason Ellis show(xm52), most of the time he is on Howard’s nuts but today he drop a nice line about the buddays. He mentioned that he just got his Sirius unit back at and while looking around found Ron& Fez; he said that he felt it was a pretty cool show and respected what they were doing. I thought this was a nice complement for the buddays and was wondering if anyone else has been listening to the Jason Ellis Show and if you like it or not.

I catch his show occasionally during portions of Bubba I didn't catch in the morning and he's funny as hell. He has a genuine love for doing radio which I respect and that makes me like him much more than a lot of the celebrities that get signed by Sirius XM for their name.

I’ve only listen for a few weeks but I definitely think he has a nice flow to his show. If you ever get a chance listen to his interview with LL Cool J.

Once I realized the music stations were done I started listening to Ellis on my drive home. The thing thats refreshing about him is that he tries to be positive on everything. Frank Decarro was on yesterday and I wanted to call in to see if he had met his new coworker, Fez.

I love that he likes the virus 202 for Ron and Fez and liked Opie and Anthony because they used to get on Howard's case but that now it seems they've sold their souls to terrestrial radio just like Bubba the Love Sponge.

I've been listening to the Jason Ellis show for a lil while and it's decent. The only problem is recently you can see he has checked out Ron & Fez because he's bitin off em pretty blatantly. The other he had another host on, Frank DeCarlo (admittedly gay) kinda co-hostin with him and I heard another show where he was talkin about how many babies he could beat up. Its a good show all in all but cmon get your own mat'l.

Good for Ellis, showing up on The Virus this weekend. I think most people are going to hate him, but I hope dude makes it. Even if you think he sucks, atleast he's excited.

I think Ellis and Ron would have some common ground- even though Ellis is dumber than wood.

I agree with, however I think they have the commercials because they need the money those companies pay to promote and they wouldn't get any money if they were just promoting other commercials. It might be a good idea though for them to also promote other channels. Kinda like after xmas when Ron and Fez did the promoting for their show to all the new subscribers.

I mean more interviews with people on the other channels. I know there are goign to be commercials on the channel. But the chances of me listening to Ellis off of some quick snipet on the virus are alot less than him doing a quick awkward interview that got me listening yesterday.

To be fair Steve O would be more like the American Jason Ellis- since Ellis was around in the 80s and was popping up in the Whiskey Bros skate videos which, among other skate videos, were where the whole Jackass concept came from.

I also think Ellis has a little more self respect than that. The show is dumb and base and vulgar- but there is a weird air of confidence instead of just wrecklessness. I would guess Opie likes him because Opie is really enthusiastic about radio, and Ellis is really enthusiastic about everything.
