Is acting funny gay?

I think most of us are on this board because we like humor and you're all funny - well, except Lleeder.

It doesn't always pay to be funny though, does it. There are definitely certain situations where having a good sense of humor will get you looked at sideways.

Right off the top of my head, whenever I'm playing golf with my Dad and his friends, there's definitely a "Republican in their 60's" vibe that precludes anything funny. Not that they don't get their laughs in, but it's the lamest, worst stuff ever. It's like they're reading the jokes they forward to each other in email out loud.

And if you say something that's too quick, too smart, too challenging, the silence is deafening.

I relish in those moments because there is usually 1 person that gets you, but is too scared to acknowledge you in front of the imbeciles.

They may think you are gay or stupid, but the one person knows better and that is worth it.
