I am trying to find one cheap so Davey can play his game.
Anyone wanna let me borrow/rent the one that is sitting in their house collecting dust?
I called around the remaining video rental places and they don't rent them anymore.
BAH!
I found some on ebay that are missing cords and things but, to be honest.... I know nothing about how to fix those or find parts.
Any thoughts?

My brother has a spare Xbox 360 Premium that he may be interested in selling. It used to be mine, but it recently "red ringed" and was repaired by Microsoft.
Would you be interested in purchasing a 360 used? I'm sure the price won't be that crazy. Plus it is the gift that keeps on giving.
He wants to play GTA IV: Lost and the Damned to see and hear himself? Pretty exciting.
Mine's been collecting dust but it will cost you. That's right SD sweatpants! and maybe a tshirt

Hardly.
Not begging anyone... asking.
I have a gamecube here that I haven't touched in ages. I would gladly send that out to someone.

I'm sorry I've never owned an Xbox.
I do, however, have a shoebox. It's full of ticket stubs.

If you're handy with a screwdriver, you could probably get one cheap off ebay that has the red ring of death, then buy the kit to fix it for like $20.

If all you're looking for is the cable to connect to your TV I have a few extra. What kind do you need....i.e. s-video, component or HDMI?

Fuck gamestop, dont let them get your money.
1) I hate Gamestop, as a company and the shitbags that work there. They don't test their machines or the games, so they make you go home, try and make it work and bring it back. Also I've seen them buy an Xbox 360 for store credit and in the same transaction sell an Xbox 360. (why would you want an Xbox 360 if you already have one?)
2) The majority of "old" Xbox 360s are the ones that are given to Gamestop to resell, and those are the ones that Microsoft had the most problems with in the first place .
3) Get a "Xbox 360 Arcade version" which you can get brand spanking new for $200. (but only one controller and very limited memory card instead of a hard drive. Those are new models and less likely to break down.

What game is it? Is it open? Can you trade it for the Wii version of the game?

Its a downloadable expansion pack for GTA IV.

DO NOT GET THE ARCADE VERSION IF YOU WANT TO PLAY LOST AND DAMNED!
It doesn't come with enough space to download the Lost and Damned. You'll need one with a hard drive to have enough space.

QFT. The price of a hard drive is $100, so you'd be better off just buying the XBox one level better.

I'm happy to hear the Dave is going to finally get into more adult gaming. Can't wait to blow shit up on GTA 4 with him.
If your going to do ebay read what you are buying carefully.

I don't have a spare console, but I do have a spare 20 gig hard drive I can send you. You can get a console fairly cheaply sans HDD.
EDIT: If you and Dave like oldschool 16-bit games, I can also send you a copy of Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection (http://www.amazon.com/Sonics-Ultimate-Genesis-Collection-Xbox-360/dp/B001G3AZS2/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1235443536&sr=8-1). I was sent two copies when I ordered mine.
