Dude!

seems quite simple
but i am struggling
i want to post a picture in an email
with text to the right of it
or to the left of it
or with text on either side of it
the best i can figure out to do
is to use
microsoft digital image standard 2006 editor
i put the picture in there
and then a text box next to it where i type in the text
and then copy both boxes into the email
but it never looks right
and the text is distorted and hard to read
i know there has to be a simpler and cleaner way to do this
please give me an easy solution
one where i will say
duh...why didn't i know that
thank you!

What email are you using? I know how to do it in Outlook.

i use either comcast
or aol
prefer aol
as it tells me when other aol users have read the email
have used outlook express occasionally
but not my preference
i would be primarily interested in how to do in an aol email
thank you!
Make sure, HTML is enabled and open the pic in IE, right click, copy and paste it in the message.

ANC, on aol emails, html is already there as the default
i have no problem getting pictures into the email
the problem is putting a block of text
to the right or to the left of a small picture
so that there are not big white areas around the picture
with text only above and below it
thanks!

I don't have my aol here, I'll check it tonight and let you know.
OK I gave it a shot and I couldn't get the text to the right. It's pretty much because you can't insert a table, or align the text to the top of the message.

thank you for giving it a shot
it is frustrating
i am only able to do it by bringing the picture into
microsoft digital image standard 2006 editor
then creating a text box next to that picture
and then cutting and pasting both into the email
the alignment is always off, though
and the text looks crappy
but for my current project it has turned out
acceptable (barely)
thank you very much for taking the time you did!
