I'm having a debate with some friends of mine. We're trying to figure out what percentage of
men actually wear a watch on a regular basis. So the question is very simple. Do you wear a watch?

Every day, I'd go insane if I didn't.

I stopped wearing a watch around the time cellphones came out,

watches tend to get snagged on things and can be annoying

The only time I don't wear a watch is in the shower, when I sleep, and when I bang.

Other than that, it's always on my left wrist.

And it's Titanium so it's very light. I hardly notice it's really there.

I wear a watch every day. I have a Casio G Shock Atomic watch. I like it for quickly checking the date and time. I keep my cell in my pocket so its not as easy to quickly check these things. I need quick access sometimes.

If I leave without em, I always turn around and get em.

I've turned around and gone back to the house after realizing I forgot to put it on.

I used to be the same way. Leaving the house without a watch was the same to me as leaving without shoes. Then I realized I'm in my truck 90% of the day and the time is right on the dashboard. I also realized my work cell phone and personal cell phone both displayed the time, so when I'm not driving I still have the time readily available.

I started wearing one less and less until it actually became uncomfortable to wear one.

I'll never understand how some people wear so much jewelry. It's cumbersome and annoying.

This is kind of my one luxury item. My dad gave it to me for graduation 22 yrs ago. I just don't feel right without it on. I think watch-wearing might become a generational demarkation line too. My son's generation sees no use for watches since they have a cell phone on them 24x7.

Nice watch! But the only reason I would never wear a stainless watch again is because of the weight...That Rolex probably weighs a TON! My titanium watch weighs next to nothing, which is great for when I'm already holding a 10lb bass guitar up on stage or in rehearsal for 3 hours.
Love the Rolex, but I'm stickiing with weightless SEIKO.

You get used to the weight but it makes it all the more noticible when its not on. The other thing that's nice is that its truly waterproof so you don't have to worry about it getting wet and the face does not scratch very easily. I worry that it's mugger-bait sometimes though.

I do not like wearing a watch, it irritates the hair on my arm and I just don't care enough to bother wearing one. :) I did have a discussion about this with my cousin who has a number of watches and is always wearing one.

He wears a watch because it is the only socially acceptable jewelry for a man. He is convinced that having a really nice watch has contributed to his pursuit of women over the years. I don't know if it is true or not but he does pretty well so I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, plus women care about their own jewelry and whatnot so they probably DO notice it more.

My $12 walmart watch broke and I declared I wouldn't buy cheapo watches anymore. Then I gave up on watches altogether after deciding to upgrade on a good new watch and saw that all the fancy ones are well over a grand a piece. I'd just lose the son of a bitch then I'd be dropping tears over all the money I wasted.

There are many different styles of Movados in a range of prices. The Musuem watch, the watch that they are known for, sold for about 500-700 I think.
