The song that I am completely sick of is Brown-Eyed Girl. It is a good song, but I have heard it one to many times, at parties, bars, wherever.
The song that reminds me of my college days would be The Cult's Love Removal Machine.

I never went to college (SHOCKER!!!), but my friend did. We used to just basically live with him their on the weekends.
I always think of the group of drunk kids singing Margaritaville. It happened all the time.
That's when we knew it was time to find another party.

For the life of me I cannot remember
What made us think that we were wise and we'd never compromise
For the life of me I cannot believe we'd ever die for these sins
We were merely freshmen

Freshman year of high school. Heard it a million times. Always think of freshman lunch when I hear it.

Wow, does it get much better? Lane's vox, and the outright harmonies are amazing.

Thank you sir. Time to put the towel under the door and light the bong.

I don't know if they are underrated or overlooked but they should not be dismissed as another grunge band. One of the best lead singers ever and great melodies for a metal band.

One time I played that song over and over again while my friend was hung over at work. I didn't have to work but I went there to help him out. He was pissed and threw the CD behind an oven. Jersey Rich met him and he confirmed that this all actually happened.

Brown Eyed Girl
Only The Good Die Young
American Pie
Sweet Caroline

They'd play these fucking songs every night at the bar and all the chicks would scream when they came on. I can't stand them to this day.

But as far as a non-shitty song that reminds me of college, I have to say that anytime I hear anything from Achtung Baby I think of my senior year.

EliSnow

Matthew Sweet - Girlfriend, would be for junior year. I listened to that album all the time.

Do Right by Jimmies Chicken Shack 'cause it was always on when we would drive to the diner when I was at the Yuke.

The other 4 that I remember always hearing were:
Little Black Backpack by Stroke 9
There You Go by Pink - my roomate would play this on repeat, I would wish she would somehow get strangled or we'd lose power.
Caught Out There by Kelis
Mass Pike by The Get Up Kids

It was 1999 into 2000 and I'm just thankful it wasn't Marcy Playground.

The Clash - Rock the Casbah

It was played at every party at the Univ. of Tampa and since the main building at Tampa had minarets, when the line "drop your bombs between the minarets" came on, everyone would scream it out.
