So I am going to be an uncle for the first time within' the next few weeks. Going to have a little niece to spoil, looking forward to it.

My sister has tasked me with gathering and providing her with a really good set of Baby songs, sing-alongs, and lullabies. I'm going to burn these for her, and I was wondering if your fine people could provide with some great songs or compilations to check out.

Thanks in advance. :king:

Check out any of the discs by Brady Rymer!!!

There is also a great compilation called "For the Kids" that includes tunes by Cake, Barenaked Ladies, Guster, Wilco, and Tom Waits. Might be better for when she gets a little older though.

You'll be the coolest uncle ever. Congrats!

Shiver My Timbers, shiver My Soul/Yo Ho He Ho/There are men whos hearts as black as coal

And they sailed there ship across the ocean blue/A Blood thirsty captain and a cut throat crew./Its a darker tale as was ever told/Of a lust for treasure and a love of gold.../

Shiver My Timbers, Shiver my sides/Yo ho he ho/
There are hungers as strong as the winds and tides/Yo ho he ho/

And those bucaneers drowned there sins in rum,/The devil himself would have to call em scum!/Every man on board would have killed his mate for a bag of ginnys or a piece of eight, a piece of eight, a piece of eight/5 6 7 8…

Jack Johnson did the soundtrack to the Curious George movie in 2006. It's really good!
