http://www.myspace.com/warchildheroes Is a compilation of some cool artists covering some of their favorite songs to benefit children affected by war. I found a band called the Like and really do like their sound, also Peaches cover of Search and Destroy is some cool cruising music.

I saw The Like open for Tori Amos 3 years ago at PNC Arts Center.

They're pretty cute and very low-key. I almost bought their CD, but I hadn't planned on buying anything other than dinner, so I didn't.

There's another benefit album featuring a bunch of indie rock acts (Arcade Fire, etc.) that i need to track down.
