I hate to say it, this sounds entirely plausible. I'm not taking Chris Brown's side, but if somebody starts hitting me while I'm driving a rented 250K automobile, I could see how things could escalate.

Rihanna read a three-page text message on Brown's phone from a woman. An argument ensued and Brown allegedly tried forcing Rihanna out of the car but couldn't because she was wearing her seat belt. 

Brown then allegedly shoved Rihanna's head against the passenger window. When Rihanna turned to face him, Brown punched her, then continued punching her while driving. Blood spattered all over Rihanna's clothing (http://www.wwtdd.com/?start=6#) and in the interior of the car. Her mouth was filled with blood. 

Brown allegedly told Rihanna, "I'm going to beat the **** out of you when we get home. You wait and see."

Rihanna called her assistant and left a message saying, "I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there."

Brown then replied, "You just did the stupidest thing ever. I'm going to kill you."

According to the report, Brown continued to punch Rihanna, bit her on her ear, her fingers and put her in a headlock -- she almost lost consciousness.

Not so bad really.....i mean, he has all these probabationary restrictions for the next few years which could blow up in his face if he gets in some more stupid shit. I think it decreases the likelihood of recidivism.

If he just got 10 days in some fancy celebrity jail (a la Paris Hilton) he would be back to those shenanigans without fear of heightened penalties.

On the flip side, we dont really know why he put his hands on her.
He's got a clean record so far as i know, so not your usual thug like punk.
Is it possible she just ran her mouth like some entitled young starlet with the world at her beck and call? Maybe?

Basically just keep in mind that he’s reading something, probably written or at least co-written by someone whose goal was to write something that sounded really good. If I made a video and said these exact same things, does that mean I’m sorry for punching Rihanna? And if a video showed experts testifying that my dong is humongous, does that mean it’s true?
