I just finished watching Once A Upon A Time In The West, starring Charles Bronson and very easily one of the greatest villians on screen i've ever seen, Henry Fonda. The begining of the film is long but if your not used to Mr. Leone's work give it time; I watched it on Youtube in 16 parts. The way the action and suspense progressed on screen along side this cinematical masterpiece in conjunction with the music is truly breath taking. Ennio Morricone was of course the composer; these two men really tell a great story together, and the way Mr. Morricone assists in making a scene is nothing but extaordinary. It made me wonder if there where any other duo's that packed such a one-two punch or at the very least, are so attached to the hip when it comes to greatness on camera

Though it wasn't a long-term collaboration, the two movies that Stanley Kubrick made with Walter/Wendy Carlos doing music, "A Clockwork Orange" and "The Shining", are really brilliant examples of a score really enhancing the movie.

Johnny! I saw this movie when it was released on tv in like 1972. My parents would play the soundtrack over and over. In 1979 I saw 'My Name is Nobody" written by Sergio Leone and the music was by Ennio Morricone. You would love it! I was hooked on westerns from then on. They re-released Once Upon a Time in the West on the big screen once again in like 1988. I'm glad to see someone else is into Leone- Morricone.
Mr. Choo Choo...hehehe
