actually i have the kodak zi6 which i like better. the video format is a little easier to manipulate, the software demo was a lot clearer and it was a little cheaper at walmart. it also uses SD cards so i dont have to fight with the usb plug.
i would have picked up a flip hd, but no local discount store had one in stock.

What separates HD camcorders? If they're all HD, other than specific amenities like remotes, lighting, memory etc., what makes one superior to another? I'm looking at getting one with a compatible underwater housing, and I can't see what the difference is between a $300, $1,000 and $2,000 HD camcorder

I have the Mino Flip (pre HD edition) and love it.
60 minutes of video, and uploading is wicked easy.
Here's an idiot playing with it:

Does it add that "recorded by flip video" to all of your recordings ?
What format (.avi, .mov ) are the videos in when you transfer them to your computer ?

OGC, No. It gives you the option to share the credits with Flip or to not, each time you post a vid.
This video is in wmv, but I think thats also a choice. Not sure though, I'll have to check.

I was thinking about getting one of these. I see an overcrowded youtube world and wonder why not...why not?
