I thought the place was hit and miss, and may still be in some areas. But today I went to one in Mineola and had a damn good Frontega Chicken Panini.
What's your favorite food from there? Good/bad experiences? I once had a horrtible meal at one in West Babylon.

Asiago roast beef and a greek salad. It depends on who makes the sandwich though, sometimes they just slop it together.

They give you free samples? I've never seen any free samples of anything there. I think they started charging extra for the apple/chips or bread option too. :annoyed:
I take an extra tea bag for my tea, that'll show them.

Yeah, that was my favorite panini there. I wish they'd bring it back.

I found if you smile and engage them in some small talk, you get things like extra bread or chips.

same here!
for breakfast - a spinach and bacon egg soufflé and/or one of their expensive french toast bagels.
only bad experience was the last time I went, got just a chicken noodle soup, tasted terrible, I had to throw half of it out. In hindsight I should have asked for a refund

I used to work at Panera. Getting free food was pretty awesome. And at night, we'd be able to take home a good portion of the baked goods that didn't sell during the day. Delicious.

I liked them but one time I got a sandwich there and noticed a baby cockroach on the counter. I went to the garbage can and threw it out immediately. Then I paid them extra, ran home, and poured bleach on my genetails.

the only bad experience I ever had at a panera was when the little brat sliced the bread loaf thick instead of thin, who the hell eats bread 2 inch thick??? I am not some silly goose at the park that gobbles it up

The charging extra for bread is new, i think. I don't know, sometimes they charge me, sometimes they don't.
This thread makes me want to try their breakfast.
