I could use a good, basic egg salad recipe

I need a change from PB&J and eggs are a little less expensive than deli meat.

I need a good, basic recipe (a little onion or green onion and celery). I'd like to ZAZZ (http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k203/petrina_02/1645768_1189688915_dethklok__the_de.jpg) up my egg salad so any other ideas you have I will more than welcome).

That's for the first 6 eggs. Maybe a week later I'll maked curried egg salad. SO SO EASY! Crumble the eggs, add mayonnaise to your liking and sprinkle in a little curry. A little curry goes a long way and adds a nice, unique flavor to egg salad.

you need to add something crunchy to egg salad
otherwise it is like eating creamed baby food

nuts do not go well with egg salad, but chopped up gherkin pickles do

The only difference I made was to use a white onion. I just never have red onions around the house.

Love Egg Salad..soo many recipies...
my fave:...hot pepper olive oil, some broccoli, eggs, three pieces of bacon, onion(white), celery, and spices..blend by hand. Simple & tasty.

Deviled Egg Salad

6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped finely

1 tsp brown spicy mustard

2 tbsp real mayonnaise

1 tsp apple cider vinegar

1 tsp sugar

1/8 tsp all purpose seasoning salt

1/8 tsp ground pepper

1 tsp sweet pickle relish

1/2 tsp Worchestershirt sauce

4-6 drops Tabasco sauce

Mix all ingredients together and serve as sandwiches. Garnish with paprika if desired. Great on English muffins with a slice of Pepper jack or creamy Monterrey jack cheese.

Makes 2 cups.

Thing I never got about making Egg Salad..if you add Mayo..you are adding a whipped version of itself into itself..yet the whipped version tastes better....fucking Mayo!

I go super basic. I just mix up my yolks with mayo, add some mustard and maybe a lil tabasco or chili powder for kick. Chop up the whites seperately, and a lil on the chunky side and toss. Salt and pepper and you're done. Im told i should add celery but i just dont see the need.
