Nice build - damn, 500 gigs for $75. I'm thinking about doing one, but might wait until 7 is out. I think you were very wise to invest in a good PSU, since that's the downfall of many a good system.

Would have gone with a larger power source with the size video card you got personally.
How are the ATI cards? I'm a Nvidia guy, never bother with ATI stuff.
Oh sorry, didn't see it was a Sapphire card, never heard of them. Have heard of Radeon before, how are they?

And the PS should be fine as long as im not going crossfire or SLI. and that PS is over 80% efficient too!
(My old system which is still old:
Celeron d 850mHz, 1.5g of ram, MSi video card, ethernet card, dvd drive, two HDD......200w.)
i actually asked about that on anandtech.com. more reply's for ati than nvidia now.
there is really only two people that make the GPUS itself ATI or nvidia.

Tight now im using an old crt monitor. i might hook this up to the 42 every once in a while but i will let you know.
again both OS's will be on this machine. XP w/ SP3 and when i get VISTA it will be 64 bit.

YAY. RMA! RMA! RMA! the processor.
I was not getting even a "POST" out of the MOBO. Although everything was working on it.
Phase leds, Video Card light was on.
No video out at all was working. I hate this. Now it will be a week before i get the CPU back.
The CPU would not even send a signal for the CPU cooler fan to start.
:furious::annoyed::furious::annoyed:
On a side note i did take some pictures. WOW this stuff looks hella better in person. And bigger, especially the fans on the tower.
The noise is not what you would expect from this either. For 2 - 9"+ fans and two 180mm fans and the PS fan.

Ugh, RMA's on new stuff always pisses me off. I just had a motherboard that wouldn't take Vista and a video card that would throw these crazy rainbow colors on screen suddenly then just lock up for a minute and never recover until I restarted. Both are currently in RMA's with the manufacturers because Newegg only does 30 day and this was after 30 days.
But system looks nice though. Power supply on the bottom is new to me, I am used to and like it above because I always get ones with a big fan on the bottom to act as more air movement over the mobo, but that system looks like it has plenty of air flow.
Good luck with it man, hope your RMA gets solved quickly but we all know it won't get taken care of nearly as fast as you want it to be.

Yeah the case is pretty well aired out with all the fans. Which is nice. No only weird thing on the case though is the front fan has red LEDS. the power button at the TOP FRONT has a blue LED. WTF. i might change it.
Also, all the reviews for the case that say they broke the "tool-less" design tabs and what not are fucking retards. I had NO problem. at all. and one i was afraid of breaking because I was pressing on it so hard. But nope its all ok.
There are a couple slight "not-so-much-of-a" problems with the PS being at the bottom.
1.) Make sure your main connector is from the PS is long enough. This one is a bit of a stretch being that I cant run the wire THROUGH the video card.(Cause the main connector on the MOBO is at the top front(by the bay areas)). If you had a MOBO with onboard video support(which then there is really no reason to buy this case) you should be fine because you can run the wire straight to the main connector. i had to run mine in a backwards L shape fashion.
2.) The fan for the PS is pointing down. So the air is coming from the floor right? YES. The problem here is the feet on the case only lift it a half inch if that. So I am going to get some things to fit under the feet. Just to lift it up a bit more. You know.

You try clearing the CMOS/RTClock?
Try booting up with one or no memory sticks in?
Try without other devices plugged in?
Are you sure the connections for the power wires and such are plugged in properly?
Is the power supply turning on by itself without being plugged into the MOBO?

Yeah vista doesnt freeze up at all anymore, as long as you have the ram and PS to keep it going, that is where people run into mistakes. Windows 7 will be the best OS in a long while if everything that has been in the beta comes out in the market version and there its going around that there will be very few changes to it.
