Fuck Beauty, SEVEN's where it's at yo. I also greatly enjoy his work/the entire movie of SWIMMING WITH SHARKS, underrated gem. And Usual Suspects is awesome.

His best work was on the TV show "Wiseguy", playing "Mel Proffit" and having incest with his sister, played by Joan Severance.

I'll be the one. Usually I hate Kevin Spacey, but I really enjoyed American Beauty. So I pick it.

Usual suspects, definately. Blew my mind the first time I saw it and I love watching it again and agin, picking out "clues" to the ending :-)

I got to go with Seven. He played the villian that won in the end. he was so convincing, it was a mind-blowing performance.

He played the villian that won in the end. he was so convincingThat was the only villain that I actually found genuinely chilling.
EDIT: As for suspects, I made it a habit of when I'm lying to pick out names of things around me to see if anyone gets it. Suspects was great.

i agree with ikeaboy on all counts. seven #1, suspects #2, sharks #3. American beauty was overrated, although it was a good movie. Wes bentley had the best performance in that though
it's true,
it's damn true!

no way, seven and usual suspects are both GREAT movies, but american beauty is one of my favorite films and i think it's one of spacey's best, maybe i'm a little one sided though, growing up in the suburbs i think i have all those people as neighbors :P

Usual Suspects would be my first choice with his great Kobayashi character. A close second was Swimming with Sharks when he played the bastard executive.

Most people here know I usually don't buy into the hype, but American Beauty was an outstanding movie.

Of course, my pick is SE7EN. ;)
Usual Suspects is a close second. I also feel that Swimming with Sharks is underrated.
And how about Glengarry Glen Ross? I know he didn't have a very large role in that film, but I always thought it was a fine movie just the same.
