I have no fucking idea.
A few years back, he was a tool in some boy band. But now, I have friends that rock his CD's and think he's a comic God. STRAIGHT friends. And they DVR when he's on SNL and text references to people.
It's insanity.

I don't necessarily think he's funny. I liked his Robin Gibb impression, and the whole "Omelette-Ville" thing was funny once (I don't know how that still holds up).
It all just seems like a sad attempt to make it look like he doesn't take himself seriously.

I think he deserves some credit for that. He co-wrote and produced the song.

And I think he has an ability to not take himself that seriously and puts himself in a position to skewer his own persona which a ton of other people have a hard time pulling off.

i don't think hes funny, but i might be the only person on this board to see "The Love Guru". I dont even think hes a good actor, in "alpha dog" he was suppose to be this macho thug guy and he sounded like Fez.
