XM Online no working

I am sure there has been 1,000,000 posts about this but my xm online wont work. It loads and then when i hit the channel I want to listen to it flashes ready a few times and then nothing. I updates flash player and it will not work

Go to musicdock.com (http://www.musicdock.com/Default.asp).

Click on Demo.

Enter you XM Online log in info.

Click on 202 from the list of channels.

It will play XM using Windows Media Player and doesn't time out.

My feed went down during the show today. Only then did I read that starting March 11, xm will no longer provide free internet streaming.

Sadly, thisll work out for them, because I've been thinking about getting a portable player, and this clinches it. I cant sit in my car all day just for the best radio show ever.

I would consider an internet subscription but only if their stupid website didn't time out after a couple of hours. It pisses me off royally since it is my main source of music at work and if I am in the middle of a haircut and it craps out I have to stop and go reset it.
I tried downloading xamp but for some reason it wouldn't work for me and the player in my vista sidebar stopped working in Sept, so I have been stuck with their crappy web stream thru their website.

XaMp stopped loading properly on all the various machines I tried it on so I gave up.

I use the Yahoo Widgets thing now on machines I run XP on and the Vista widget on machines with Vista. They run great and never time out.

If you use the Yahoo Widget thing, you gotta get the one my XMWidgetGuy on Yahoo groups HERE. (http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/XmWidget/)

The one Yahoo gives you off their widgets list is broken. Just a heads up. I really got used to a sidebar so the Yahoo Widget thing is great on XP.

Anyone else notice the 32bit stream for 202 stopped working? It only streams in the 128k now? This happened mid day yesterday for me and still isn't resolved. I refuse to call XM about it cause I know the heebahabbahoobaaajeeba bullshit I'll not be able to understand.

32bit on 202 doesn't work through their website, or any secondary application.

32Bit was nice to conserve bandwidth on the aircard.

XM202 has always been more finicky for me than the music though.

I'm not getting anything either. XMRO and XaMp aren't working. I even connected to a remote computer and tried it, so I know it isn't my current connection/work blocking it.

For some reason, this pisses me off even more now that I have to pay for the service. I was much more willing to overlook problems like this when the online stream was just part of the regular subscription cost.

I called XM to cancel all three radios tonight, and sign up for Audible. One of them is being used by a work buddy, and he wasn't too thrilled to be losing XM. I told him not to worry, because they'd probably cut us a deal. It worked.

He gets his radio for 5 more months for $19.95. The other two (mine and my mom's) are free for the next three months!:smoke:

I'm confused I was getting xmonline for free and I assumed it was cause I locked it in a long time ago. Last week I stopped being able to log in on this computer but I still can on my work computer. When I attempt to log in on here it says I need to sign up. Is there something I need to do to this computer to fix this?

i did,not xmonline but the service,i ended up buying a new unit for 10 bucks,a year of xm for 77 bucks and got xmomline free for 3 months,i'm here for you,well not here but over here and there too
