Dave and Pepper

Listening to the after show, it became pretty clear that Dave and Pepper had excellent chemistry. I think Pepper had a much better control over Dave's excitable nature and Dave did not make Pepper delve into the normal dregs that populates the conversation on High Society (I like those shows but I doubt the bosses appreciate it).

They are both under forty and perfect for the younger personality radio audience that Sirius bosses are looking for.

They both can be current, conversational and not always talking about game shows and wrestling.

This is not a bad idea providing Hicks can get over his man crush on Bronx Johnny.

I think Sam and Dave are two front guys butting heads against each other.

Pepper on High Society was the orchestrator or director (similar to Opie and Ron). He kept the show moving and got in and out of bits depending on the how they were working.

Same or Dave could benefit from that direction. For raw comedic talent, Dave has got Sam beat.
