I saw this yesterday on Judge Judy. It was on the DVR, so I’m not really sure what day it was broadcast. Judge Judy asked Rhonda Layne, a 19-year old single mother of two who gets by on public assistance why she spent $350 on a cell phone. Her ex-boyfriend broke the cell phone because she was going to use it to call the police on him. She said it was because she “Like-ed the phone“.

She tried to justify it to Judge Judy by saying that she purchased the phone with money she “made on the side” doing hair.

I couldn't really tell which way she said it. I saw someone else on YouTube referred to it as "like-ed" so I went with that.

I LOVE Judge Judy. The people on that show, coupled with Judge Judy's complete lack of patience is simply fantastic.

There is one episode in particular that stands out to me... my memory of it is a little hazy, I only saw it once and it was years ago... A woman was suing her legally blind ex-boyfriend. They met after he placed an ad in the paper looking for someone to help him out with errands. They started dating, then the woman ended the relationship, and the Defendant got angry and trashed her apartment.

When Judge Judy asks the Defendant for his side of the story, he tells Judge Judy that the woman is a drug addict. He says something like, "One time, she brought me into her bedroom and pulled out a box. Then she told me to put my hand in the box and feel around. I didn't want to, but finally I felt around a bit and I was like ' What is this?????' .. and it was Marijuana!! And she had pills of Ecstasy, too! Then.... she asked me if I wanted to meet Leroy! And I was like, "Who in da hell is LEROY??"... she was talking about her vibrator!! And then she started pokin' me with it...."

It has been so long since I've seen it, so I know I'm botching up what he said. But it was by far the most hysterical thing I have ever seen on TV. The man's facial expressions, his accent, the tone of his voice, the lazy eye.... you all need to see this episode.
