XM online is blocked at work

I apologize if this has previously been posted. If your online XM and Pal talk are blocked are there any other ways around to listen to XM on line?

I can get to the home page, but when I try to click on “Listen” it is then blocked

do you use firefox or Explorer?

I actually had the problem and when I got a new laptop it was no longer "blocked" so it wasn't a network issue at all.

Dont be misguided about this. You have to realize that your IT admins are tracking the network usage bumps, and when they see a streaming kbps usage coming from your computer, it may lag the VoIP sessions and cause disruptions all over the place. Then you are going to be faced with the embarrassment of getting ripped for using all the bandwidth, and possibly "written up" for network usage violations.

Yeah people never think its a big deal but if the company uses VOiP or notices huge lags when sending files they will track you down to shut it down completely and if you try to circumvent the blocks some places can fire you. If you have a portable unit I would try to use that in an office.

Yup, they blocked streaming at my job as well, I'm in w/ the IT guys and they used to give me a workaround, but told me to quit it, as higher-ups are tracking usage because it's causing lag.

Complaining about XMRO being blocked I can understand... but Paltalk? Thats a problem.

My old work around was to bring my cell phone and stream it thru that :happy:
