The window that has been opened recently into the Ron and Fez show, has revealed that Ron lives radio talk. Ron is radio talk. Ron is entertainment. Amazing.

Sports talk show, political commmentary, kids show, music show, movie reviews, interviews, unmasked, and repeat

Amen. Like I've said, Ron would be on the air 20 hours a day if they'd let him.

I admire him in that he's one of the few people I know whose life's passion also happens to be his livelihood.

I can't picture Ron ever retiring. They're going to have to drag him away from the microphone kicking and screaming.

I hope that day doesn't come for another 40 years or so.

i thought Eric Bogosian was Talk Radio

Since you asked, I have a cute little Eric Bogosian story.
Years ago I went to a play with my Mom. I looked in the main aisle and saw Eric Bogosian. I pointed him out to my Mom, but she said she didn't know who he was. I told her that he was a washed up actor, only really in one decent movie, "Talk Radio."
A couple of minutes go by, and as fate would have it, Eric walks down our aisle and sits one seat away from my mom, the woman next to my mother was his wife. Oops.

Thanks for asking for my Bogosian story.

I agree, as much as I love the regular broadcast the after show "meeting" on HUT a is fascinating and entertaining peek at the more social aspect of the guys. I am really loving it, I appreciate the HUT guys for sharing bandwidth.:clap:

If only someone was recording those after hours meetings so those of us who's workplace block access would be able to listen. :glurps:

I just started listening to Ron and Fez last February after finally getting XM primarily to listen to Opie and Anthony. I can say without fear of hyperbole that Ron Bennington is the single fucking quickest, wittiest, funniest dude I have ever heard in any media. The man is incredible. I can't believe it took me as long as it did to discover Ron and Fez. They have become by far my favorite radio show surpasing O and A by a longshot.

Ronnie B is the man and he's a Philly fan to boot which is always a plus.

I agree. He is far superior to Stern I mean its not even close. But maybe the thing that makes him so absolutely cool is he seems not to give a shit about fame, whereas people like Stern (and Opie) do whatever they can to court fame.

Ron Bennington carries the weight of XM202 on his shoulders when its not on O&A's. Friday he managed to get out of the funk that Dave & Fez's mental problems put him in, not to mention the hayseed callers, and give a great show. The shit that comes out of his mouth is radio gold. I can't get enough of Shock & Jock and anytime Ron tells a story about his past from the carnie days to the times of running with Rapper and the Philly crew or the South Florida madness I eat that shit up. Ron is the man.

I can only think of one show in the past year where Ron was itching to leave the studio, and it was because of a personal issue. Ronnie B is a class act. A rare man who loves his job and does it with pleasure.

please, everyone knows the contempt you hold ron in. you are disdainful towards his work habits and even saddled him with that cruel nickname "the bandit". don't try to be a suck-up now. i only wish i could see thru to your end game and tell what is your motivation for this turn.
