Dave needs a partner who is the "straight" guy who can keep the show on track and moving and can also have a few funny lines here and there.

Sam was pretty good at that. In fact, i didnt realize how awful "Than & Sam" is until i heard "Sam & Dave". With "Than & Sam", its two straight guys and its just awkward. "Sam & Dave" is great!

The only other person i know of that can do a great, if not better job than Sam in complimenting Dave's talents is DJ Newstyle. Hearing him with Germfreak proves that he can work with a crazy personality and get maximum comedy out of the crazy one. That is the only direction he can go

I am quite surprised by this whole thing. These two are being given an opportunity getting a few shows and building a little momentum for themselves. Listening to the after show it seems Dave knew nothing about Sam doing the show with Than again. I feel bad for Dave being left hanging.

I know I know you big weirdo fanboy, you don't even read my posts.....sure. Yet like Gvac I couldn't disagree more. The ESD/Sam shows weren't too good, sorry. Sam and Dave are both wacky, no "straight" guy or even different feel at all. That was your only point I agree on, but I like both individually and hope they find they're right pairs. ESD needs a Ron like partner, and by this I'm not saying he has to be that quick and witty, but someone not a true goof and keeps/tries to keep ESD in line (funny in itself).

As for Than and Sam, much better feel overall. Yet they have had more time to work together on a show.

I should also mention I never heard DJ and germ, so I have nothing one way or the other to add there. I just don't have time for all these shows and or even paltalk. Life, try it people. (<-For all those who catch every damn show around.) And yes, I'm looking at you.
