Sam walked out on than last night or kicked out and was plugging a new special delivery into any mic that was on and than, travis and danny finished the last bit of the show without Sam who said he only did this one last show to help Than out but special delivery will be back. Than told Sam he was fired because they weren't gonna plug the other show but Sam wouldn't stop plugging.

it was a wrap up of then and sam show forever...i dont for a second beleave the end it was worked. but who cares, dave and sam will do there show. what didnt seem a work was when sam was on mic being a lil more edgey and than didnt know were to go with it, kept asking him whats wrong with you and you have changed, thought that was a shoot since sam didnt respound at all.

I know that some of you believe that Dave is a the greatest and think everything thing he does is the tops, but I am going to miss the Sam and Than show. I like the chemistry they had and found it to be a pretty good show.

Special Delivery isn't a good show and Dave having the mic 50% of the time or more is just to much. Mostly because Dave hasn't gotten past the "it's all about me me me" stage of development. Being an attention whore is ok in small doses, but to expect someone to listen to it for 3 hours at a time is too much.

I feel bad for Sam, to be honest. Sam has some very cool genuine qualities about him that make him interesting to listen to. Dave however really doesn't. Unless you are a super fan or a friend of his I can't really see anyone digging Dave at all.

after last night it seems that the than & sam show is over. now that i have listened to 202 for a while, i suspect a big part of the blowout at the end of last night's show was theater, but it was still uncomfortable to listen to. than & sam was the first show i heard in the snv slot, and i even wrote some fan mail to sam, who responded, and listened to all their archived shows. what can i say except i thought that at their best, they had great chemistry. it reminded me of the dr katz cartoon, but the thing of it is i'm not sure who is the dr and who is the comic patient. as far as t & s shows go, last night wasn't their best, but i was glad they had some conclusion for their fans, and themselves. thanks guys and good luck, than.

about the s & d show: i think they are both talented but the two are still figuring out how to relate their characters to one another. i'd like to hear a few more episodes. maybe they could do online-only podcasts for download consumption to help develop the show.

I never really enjoyed the Than and Sam show.It seemed like they were just trying to out dry the other guy.Someone has to have some color in their approach.I think the Sam and Dave thing can work because Sam can temper Dave's maniacal side and Dave can spice up Sam's low key delivery.They need some time to work out the kinks but I think that they could compliment each other nicely.

If you find what Dave does entertaining sure, but I don't really. And like I said this board is filled with super fans and real life friends and now I am talking to his wife so it is hard to have a real conversation about Dave or anything about the show because of how close you people are to it.

Don't get me wrong I am not unhappy when Dave is on the Ron and Fez show in small doses.

Dave is very limited in his world view he hasn't gone out and seen what the world is about. If he did he would be more entertaining and a better entertainer. Instead he is stuck thinking everything that he loved at 14 or 15 is the peak of perfection. This explains why every other word is Star Wars, Guns and Roses, Indiana Jones.

I understand that Dave has to step up on occasion but he could learn from Sam, Travis, and Danny how a producer does that with trying to upstage the main interest of the show. There have been times when it felt like the Ron and Dave show featuring Fez.

Dave says stuff just to get attention or draw attention away from the main topic. He also lays claims to having certain thought about life that no real put together man would have. His no holds barred attitude makes him more of goof rather then an entertainer.

I never liked Than & Sam but I like SD. I turned T&S on last night just to hear if the special Delivery thing was brought up, and wow was it... I loved it, it felt pretty real, Sam was his usual smarmy self, and I was happy they broke up - Than & Sam would be better with other partners. Together their show bored me.

I heard this last night and I think it's a work, but they did it well.

I have always liked Than, I think his dryness is an aquired taste however, if you don't enjoy that type of humor he is not for you.

Sam has the potential to be the perfect host, he is so sarcastic, but he can also be the straight man, I think he and Dave mesh very well, and in time they should be a must listen.
