tonight I was at the Blue Note in NYC, for a company function.
I was enjoying the music, even though I'm not the biggest Jazz fan,
when they decided to do a tribute to Louie Armstrong.
They started playing "It's a Wonderful World", but instead of vocals they used the clarinet.
Once the clarinet joined in all I could think about was the Toddley Doo bit Anthony used to do to all the time.
It started off as a giggle, and I was able to suppress it, but urge to laugh just came back again even stronger. I tried thinking of something else and also began to bite my lip, however the laughter kept forcing itself out, to a point where I tears starting to form.
I quickly got up from the table and ran to the bathroom, where I was able to regain control of myself. Just as I was walking out of the bathroom someone from my group was entering, to see if everthing was okay. Apparently, the people at my table thought I was crying. So, instead of telling the truth, that I was laughing for some unexaplainable reason, I quickly made up a story, about how my grandfather used to play that song all the time, and hearing it brought back those memories.
Has anyone else had times like this, where they started laughing at inappropiate times for no reason?
