I can't say my meal choices are healthy recently, thankfully the ones on the list are not on mine at all.
This one is surprising
Worst "Healthy" Sandwich
Blimpie Veggie Supreme (12")
1,106 calories
56 g fat (33 g saturated fat)
2,831 mg sodium
96 g carbohydrates

It seems that most of the worst are actually because of the portions.

Whenever I read these lists it always makes me wonder who wouldn't guess that something with the name of "dessert ravioli" might be bad for them.

I dont think I've had them either. Really unhealthy food is ok once in awhile, but its so over done that it is everywhere.
edit: I feel like the John Madden of food...ugh. I apologize to you all.

I really wish our cafeteria would offer one healthy choice low caloric lunch item every day...
the food they offer is usually bland and still fatty and the choices around my workplace extremely limited.

The last time someone posted one of these threads it was from a report that was all over the news. Everyone was talking about how Chili's Awesome Blossom was the worst restaurant dish because it had like a billion calories or something.
Well, I was at Chili's recently and, ya know what? They took the Awesome Blossom off the menu. Their one signature dish next to the ribs. I really hope you fuckers and your precious "worst food threads" are happy.

2,710 calories
203 g fat
194 g carbs
6,360 mg sodium
It takes a special talent to turn a single oversized onion into the fat equivalent of 67 slices of bacon, but the line cooks at Chili's manage this horrific feat with the help of a thick batter, a calorie-loaded dipping sauce, and a vat of bubbling fat.

Military MREs are horrible if you are not in the field and being more active than most of America's population. Worse is that they contain very little fiber, we eat 3 a day, and taking a shit is a horrid chore that can sometimes leave you screeming. That or waiting 3 days to go shit while your gut is screaming for help.
A MRE contains daily nutritional requirements that call for not less than 2,200 calories (10-13 per cent proteins, 27-30 per cent fats, and not less than 60 per cent carbohydrates)

They were giving these out after Ike hit, civilians do not need to be eating these.

If you want to gain a bunch of weight... work at Domino's! You'll be there, hungry as a motherfucker, during both lunch and dinner of your shift x 6 days a week. Employees (at my old location) are not supposed to keep food in the fridges, so, you're likely eating pizza/breadsticks/wings/fast food the drivers pick up for you. The manager's bodies... you can imagine. I gained 10 lbs instantly when I was there, but it looked like 30.

And regarding the veggie sandwich in the first post, I never eat cheese on my veggie sandwiches. Kinda defeats the purpose of getting a healthier sandwich.

I never saw cheese as an unhealthy choice.
The difference is in the US when you order a sandwich of anything it usually is piled with 10 slices of cold cuts or cheese or whatever you order.
We eat a lot of bread and sandwiches in Germany and usually it is a single slice of whatever you chose on the bread... it makes a huge difference

Also, when i was working at a rest. i made a burger with all the different cheeses that we had at the time. I believe was 6-7 slices. with bacon.

See, that's the difference: whenever I go to a sub shop and check out their veggie sandwiches, it always seems to be more like a cheese sandwich (usually 3 slices each of American, Swiss, and provolone) with a teeny bit of lettuce and tomato and LOTS of oil or mayo.
These are also the same sub shops that boast about their "healthy" tuna salad subs (with more mayo than tuna in the spread).

Ah ok.
Yes...everyone please show their distaste for the Angry Whopper. It shouldn't be offered anywhere on this planet.

I don't think I could order an "Angry Whopper" with a straight face.
Burger King may have the worst advertising/marketing people ever.

I actually didn't even think about it until I got to the drive-thru.
I was on the phone while ordering it...and I did burst out laughing while I said the words "I'll have a small Angry Whopper meal with a Dr. Pepper."
I was one of those self laughers. Horrible, I know.
If you do order it, I recommend practicing beforehand and making sure you don't crack up while doing so.

If there was going to be a slim chance that my arteries wouldn't clog with cholesterol, I didn't want to put a nail in the coffin with a diabetic seizure.

I think you just came up with my slogan for 2009.
JerseyRich: Hold the Angry.
