When Waynes World came out I went to Chicago with my father for business. I begged him to take me to Aurora Illinois so we could go to Mikitas for sugar pucks. Someone informed him not such place truly existed. I was sad.

"The Love Guru" was terrible, and i was really straining to laugh at anything cuz i do think mike meyers is funny

the only real laugh i had in that movie was when Love Guru and black guy are fighting over radio stations, back and forth between shitty indian music and shitty rap music, and then "Bohiemhan Rhapsody" comes on and they both look at eachother and shut it off. I laughed cuz it was a Wayne's World reference.

But the rest of the jokes in "Love Guru" are bad penis jokes, celebrity cameo jokes and the character of the Guru just wasn't funny at all

with Waynes World, i think both of them are good movies, but i actually prefer Wayne's World 2. I thought it was funnier

I re-watched the first one recently and it's still got some funny scenes. Ed O'Neill is fucking hilarious in it. I didn't even remember him being in it when I was a kid.

I love Wayne's reaction to that where he just starts laughing and says "no". I think this movie holds up. The catchphrases are moronic, but like you said it's a small part of the movie.
