I know I'm kind of a "newb" around here (been around since Golden Ticket) and Ron probably wouldn't like me because he hates golf & golfers, but my respect for him as a radio host and entertainer is beyond anyone I have ever seen or heard:clap:

He has a trying days and still is able to seamlessly self-produce a brilliant show. Much respect big man, keep it up. You have faithful fans out here that appreciate your body of work !!! Sorry if this sounds like a I'm a sappy suckup douche or whatnot, make fun of me if you want I don't care, he deserves a little appreciation now and then! Big Props

I was proud of The Bandit today. He actually earned his paycheck, coming in and doing the show by himself for 2 and a half hours after having done a freebie the night before.

Maybe it was a 2009 resolution?

After what he did today, and did not kill Earl. He is the man. For a break Ronnie B., come to New Mexico, don't sell cars, just check out the stars which you know are the best anywhere...

Everyone knows the stars at night are big and bright...deep in the heart of Texas

Ronnie should buy an old VW van and hit up the Phish tour when they start back. There are plenty of "puppy-pullers" so Fezzie will be welcome as his man-dog. He can tour around and sell veggie burritos and other things that he's been so good at marketing in his past. No worries. He will have to get some pachuolli and grow dreads though.

I think he'll be happy with that lifestyle. Give up the chips and surrender to the flow!:smoke:

Tex would not be caught dead at a Phish concert.

I can't wait for Mr. B to start running his own used car dealership here.

OK, agreed. Maybe he can hook up on the Widespread Panic tour. Not as many desperate, dreadlock wearing, stinky runaways pushing X. It's more of a whiskey, cocaine, and mushroom crowd. All he has to do is set up in the parking lot on Shakedown Street and sell nitrous balloons. One for $5 or 5 for $20. He can easily clear $2000 a night and it's something he's good at. Bring Flathead along and they could make a killing.

Just an option. Or he could sell used cars in New Mexico.

the thing is, Ron Bennington is the most articulate, charismatic, and all around "cool" person on the face of this earth now or ever. He doesn't need us to sing his praises, he just needs us to do our best to emulate him. if everyone would try to be 25% of the man he is, there would be no world hunger, no wars, no poverty. Look at all he has overcome in his life, but still has enough compassion to deal with that fuckin loser earl without casting him into the streets. Now that is absolutley deity-like. If I had my way, it would be Ron Bennington as pres elect. He is everything we need. We should all hit our knees every morning and thank him for alowing us to hear his wisdom every day. In the name of Bennington we pray, amen.:clap::thumbup:

Every day Earl has a job I lose more respect for Ron. Granted, I give him tremendous respect so he has a nice cushion, but get rid of that anchor. I mean Earl, we'll work on Fez next.

Ron and Fez have never fired anyone. They leave it up to the individual to decide when they're no longer a good part of the team.

I think it's an incredibly admirable trait.

And the line about Fez was disrespectful and uncalled for.

I am not sure letting someone hurt your career is necessarily good trait. I understand loyalty. But, Earl has made no effort for years. I am not disappointed by Earl's lack of natural talent, it is his lack of drive. When he was producer for a day he produced half a bit. What production has he done since then?
I am sure it would be easier to let Sirius do the firing, so R&F can keep their hands clean, but at some time you have to get dirty.

As far as Fez, I loved old Fez. But again, how much help is enabling. He is in a deep rut, and allowing him to coast is allowing him to sink deeper into the rut.
But, he doesn't hurt the show the way Earl does. Fez used to add a lot more, now he adds less, but he is not the detraction that Earl is. I want Fez to get better. I disagree that babying will work. So far, I have been proved right by several years of little improvement.

I'm not sure this has anything to do with Ron Appreciation....:banning:
