I used to have dish network about 2 years ago. I switched to Comcast for the Triple Play. I gotta say I can't stand Comcast and I'm thinking of switching back. Dish NEtwork had a multi-room DVR, more channels, and now has a bunch of HD channels. Really the one thing that I really enjoy with Comcast is OnDemand. I know Dish Network offers Movies and TV On Demand, but I want to know if anyone here has it and how it compares to Comcast.

dont know about comcast,but in the last month ive house sitted at two different places,one had dish and the other had directtv,if my apt complex allowed dishes i'd go with directtv just so i wouldnt be stuck watchin the lions on sundays

Not sure about Dish network, but for DirecTV, the on-demand stuff doesn't come from the satellite, it's over the internet, so you need to have your receiver box connected to your network either through a ethernet connection or by adding a wireless adapter.

OnDemand is cool for about a minute.....then you see everything they have. they never update it so your stuck with the same piece of shit movies you've already seen for months. given the chance i'd jump back to satellite in a heartbeat, even if it was Dish Network

Ordered Dish Network Yesterday. On Demand, Multiroom DVR, the works. Comcast can go screw.

i just switched over from cable to directv and i am soooo happy. it would be nice if they could have a wireless ability on their receivers instead of my 78 foot internet cable to my bedroom dvr. playboy channel rocks!
