So, this week its been all about bagels and cream cheese.
Last week it was all about eggs.
I swear this week alone, I have eaten at least 100 dollars worth of groceries on my own.
I MADE TWO FULL SIZED HAMBURGERS FOR LUNCH!
What was your preggers food? Or your chicks?
When I had julianna I was all about deli sandwiches (which I guess I wasn't supposed to be eating.. but whatever.)

I know this guy that has a wife that won't eat anything. She's very picky and always full. Its very distressing. I don't know if she has any pregger foods she likes.:glurps:

Deli meat carries small traces of bacteria that could be harmful.
They recommend you fry all meats before you eat them
by the way.... fuck that.

Fried meats sound amazing. I wish someone would impregnate me so I could put fried meat in my mouth.

My wife got on a Japanese noodle kick for awhile with our first. Had to try every variety at the local Bento Box.

Dunno why, but my chick got mad cravings for mashed potatoes and gravy.
Some nights I had to do the thing like you see in the movies and head out in night clothes for a couple of large tubs from KFC.
You had / having any weird cravings for "non-food" substances?
A chick that worked for me said she craved laundry detergent.
I was shocked, and really didn't believe it, so seeing how I worked in a regular Hen House of women (around 40 worked for me on my shift, various ages), I threw it out there to see if anyone else had ever heard of this.
Several had, one claimed she tried a spoonful of a scent free detergent, and went back to it a few times after that.
A few others said they craved CLAY. Not play dough, or something they might have had around. CLAY. Like dug from the earth.
One said that she ate some, and knew of others in her family who had, and who told her where to get it.
Something about feeling, or knowing or craving that they needed certain minerals in their bodies.
Just curious if anyone else ever heard of craving minerals that your body may be lacking or needing, or other things not from food.
And if so, how the hell would you ever think or know that by eating DIRT or detergent, you'd be getting it?

all wanted was fresh oranges and all kinds of melon.
I never craved any other foods, but I definitely started increasing portions of all other meals slowly without even noticing... I gained a hell lot of weight... but the first three to 5 month it was all about the fruits.
towards the end I was eating burgers, which was the last thing I would have picked at any place before I was prego

Cristine has been craving Citrus throughout ... We've gone through boxes of clementines, and I've disected a dozen pineapples. Candy Corn was big for a while. And we've made a couple trips to Friendly's for Peanut Butter Cup Sundaes.

My wife was all about ice cream sandwiches which was bad for me because those things are my version of crack.
I would eat all the sandwiches and replenish the same box with new ones I bought from the supermarket. She was none the wiser.
Until I put on more pregnancy weight than she did.

The candy corn mention reminded me about my wife's craving for lemonheads and those little round cinnamon candies. Bags and bags of that stuff.

i forced my wife to eat fish for the omega 3 fatty acids (build brain cells) and forced her to drink jamba juice and slam wheat grass shots.
she would crave burger king classic chicken sandwiches and milk shakes from jack in the box.
i also forced to to eat lunch at souplantation at least once a week

just don't wipe the sandwich on a lizard or cat shit and i am pretty sure deli food bacteria is ok :) you guys share an immune system for now and yours can handle the germs

During my pregnancy, I was eating some form of Italian food every day (with a preference for eggplant parm subs). I also had an addiction to tacos; it started out with Taco Bell, but I ended up going to Surf Taco about 3 times a week during the last month of the pregnancy.
And I wonder why my son weighed 10 lbs at birth.

With both pregnancies, it was anything sour/tangy....lemon, balsamic vinegar, that type of stuff. Also chocolate. With Lucy I always wanted milky way bars. With Brodie, hersheys with almonds. :)

With the exception of laundry detergent, clay and dirt I crave all of these foods on a near daily basis. Nice choices ladies.

my wife did not have cravings but she could not stand any spice at all and she normally likes her food super spicy. She could smell the peppers we had in the freezer so I had to chuck 'em. I had a coworker who ate sand while pregnant supposedly due to her body craving some mineral.
