First off, good evening and Happy New Year to all. If you are like me (and I hope most of you aren't), you probably had waaayyy too much to eat over the holiday season. Maybe you packed on a few extra pounds since football started and caught a glimpse of yourself in the mirror today and were depressed the rest of the day. Or maybe you are just looking for a challenge in 2009.
I think all of you probably fall into one or more of those categories. Since that is the case, you should consider the JERSEY SHORE RELAY MARATHON. Here is some info:

I participated in this last year and it is a great event. This year between my friends and family, I'm kinda overseeing about 4 teams (my team consists of sister, brothers and a friend).
I thought I'd put the info up on ronfez.net if any budddayyys wanted to get together a team. I think it could be fun that if we knew other people from other teams it would a)encourage you to work even harder and b)lead to a lot of shit talking.
The teams wouldn't be competing against each other. Being on a team really doesn't matter if you have a personal goal of just finishing or finishing with a decent time. But knowing that 4 other people are depending on you finishing, it should motivate you to train your hardest. Since there will be about 4 teams, you will also know 3 or 4 other people at your starting point.
Well, for all of you with reservations, I think this is all something you can do. It's very easy to make excuses but the sense of accomplishment when you cross the line or finish with a good time is a good one.
So what do you say, you in?
