I have a couple that my searching on the internets haven't answered.
One, is itunes the only way to put music, movies etc. on it? And if not how else can I do it.
Two, I can just hook a wireless router to my road runner correct? To the modem or whatever. I've been looking to get one anyway to use with my PSP and perhaps my PS3.

iTunes is not the only way to put songs and video on it. It is the only way, short of jailbreaking, to put apps on it. I do have to say that I've tried other things, and iTunes is the best.
Yeah, just hook a wireless router up to your cable modem.

One:
You can use iTunes or another program like Songbird (open source music program). Your other option is to purchase music and apps theru the onboard App and Music stores.
Two:
Yes.

sorry, songbird doesn't support the new ipod touches.....
Why's everyone so scared of itunes?
Most of the time people complain, simply because they don't know what the hell they're doing... ask some questions..
I've been using it since apple bought the original tech from soundjam... so i've sort of gotten used to it i guess.
and yeah with your modem you can get a wireless router, and your ipod can use the wifi on that as well..... how far from your modem is your ps3? same floor etc. The N+ routers are great.
