I love these threads.

I bought Liz a new Ipod and Digital camera, along with Wall-E on DVD, an actual Wall-E toy, and a Wage uglydoll.

I wanted sunglasses that made me look like an asshole, and I got them. Liz got me a pair of Oakley Monster Pup sunglasses, the same ones that Tony Stewart wears.

I also got a Citizen Eco-Drive watch. along with some slippers, a new fleece, and Tiger Woods 2009.

Got a gym membership..which is cool because I wanted one. Other than that, still waiting for them to arrive in the mail.

Talk about serving up a softball. There is a classic example. I'll leave it alone though.

I got 2 sons who are very happy after opening their gifts this morning. That makes my Christmas a great one.

We didn't do "gifts" this year, but I may treat myself to a blackberry after the holidays (and maybe my mom too), the old chunky laptop ain't what it use to be.

I have no idea what I got for Christmas! Since I was old enough to stop believing in santa claus, my mother has always worked on Christmas day (she's a NP at a hospital here) so another mom with a young family can have the day off. So, I will have to wait until 3:30pm or so when the entire family gets here! Until then, I will be preparing the dinner feast and wondering.

I got a pair of jeans, a cool tie-dyed v-neck thermal shirt, these neat ear warmers called 180s, a cool shirt from my in-laws, MySims Kingdoms for the Wii, and money. Mike got new winter gloves, a shirt, money, and Persona 4 (which he has been playing already). And he will also get a few pairs of hand-knit socks once I'm done knitting him mom's gift (I know, I stink, but lace knitting is hard and tedious and my MIL understands).

this was a really great christmas. i didn't have a lot of money to spend on gifts, but they were pretty well thought of gifts that people enjoyed.

for me, it was awesome. i got a new hard drive and RAM upgrade for my laptop, a convection toaster oven, a waffle iron, a cookbook, two big bottles of rogue beer, a scarf, an original print of a really cool hockey goalie, a slate sabres sign with mine and my girlfriends names painted on, a couple books, full metal jacket dvd, and a hand carved wooden bowl from my step father.

hope everyone else got what they wanted!

This year I got sore ribs from coughing non-stop for the past three days. I have some kind of flu that knocked me on my ass. This year blows! My family has a large Christmas Eve party every year, and last night was the one I ever missed. I'm not even seeing my family today. I'm sitting at home by myself, but I'm thankful that the show is on and that I have a great wife and family.

Not only did I send presents out and get none (which I expected.. I did think Ron and Fez would play my Xmas song, as it was submitted on the 12th... and certainly was better than 18 to 25... and I was denied.. or at least as they're up to the good ones and number 3 they haven't.. and it's not going to do that well as I was really horribly sick when I wrote and recorded it... so I'm now to only assume I am the most hated Ron and Fez fan.

I'm just finding out about the best present of all this Christmas. As we all know, things are tough lately for a lot of people. My brothers and sisters and I weren't supposed to exchange any gifts this year. Turns out, both of my brothers secretly gave money to all three of my kids anyway. One brother gave a 3 digit figure to my oldest son, because he heard he's planning on moving to California in Feb. He also gave money to my other two kids, but not quite as much. Still... more than he should have.

The REALLY amazing thing is what my other brother did. He shelled out no less than 60 bucks between the three of them. This is coming from a guy who has been getting constant 2 week layoffs from his job at GE.

I have a really fucking awesome family!

I had a great christmas this year. I'm grateful to get anything, especially in this econom,y, but apparently my family did pretty well for themselves.

I'm typing on my brand new laptop. I love it. It's nice to be typing on my own computer again. My 'best' ideas come in the middle of the night as well, so it'll be nice to just roll out of bed (or stay in) and type them up.

The entire family got a Wii. A lot of this had to do with my niece, who loves it and my parents being absolutely in love with her.

The lady got me a bunch of silly gifts and then proceeded to give me an all exspense paid trip to get an hour long massage, gratuity included. I've been telling her that I've been in a lot of pain recently due to my condition. She was even nice enough to find that there is a guy there who specializes in MS patients.

Is it gay if I get a massage from a guy?

A new XM radio receiver and actually became a new paying subscriber.

I've been using the XM receiver my boss bought for me 3 1/2 years ago so he's been paying for the sub, but that receiver is finally taking a shit. Next week I'll use the company credit card and buy a new one for the work truck so I won't have to move them back and forth from personal truck to work truck anymore.

oh man dino got a pair from his dad also. cause it seems his brother got them & didn't want them so he stuck them in dino's stocking. those shits are going right back to kohl's.
saddest part was that we got his brother a joke tie for $1 to hide the game stop gift card we got him & the pierre cardin tie his dad gave dino was actually way uglier.

dino's mom got him the entire esteban guitar lesson collection of dvds. possibly the greatest cheesey gift ever.

she got me a coach bag that's going back to macy's cause i'm not one for the bags with the logos all over.

she also got him clothes & a ton of stuff for the apartment.

overall not such a crappy christmas

I got to spend another x-mas with the family.

Then, I got a bit of cash, two best buy (yuk) gift cards, and two pairs of new jeans.

All in all good gifts, but I got to spend time with them... that's the best. And, this year was a better year for me mentally so I made all 4 x-mas family parties and spent a lil extra time with my mom since my step-dad is on his 3rd tour in Iraq.

Be careful, because mine just died tonight! The second one in in less than 8 years. I went onto Apple online to see about repairs because it isn't THAT old but it would be $270 to fix when I can get a new iPod touch for $229 or another classic for $249. Does anyone repair these things?

I am sorry, that is one of their biggest complaints and why I purchase SanDisk products. Search Google and you may find a cheaper option for repair.
