I think Frank Zappa. Not only was he a good guitarist and had a way with words, he did rock, jazz and classical stuff also. Kind of an all around talent.

I agree, Joey was my hero. I wasn't as shock because I knew he was ill, but Stevie Ray Vaughn was devastating.
