there's a movie in the works.

Did you know the original jetfire from transformers..like most of the transformers..was originally the robotech/macross toy.

Also the robotech tv show here in the u.s. was a combination of two japanese cartoons..

you should check out the robotech movie..i think its called what ever happened to love, or something like that.
