spent the last 40 years playing,coaching and now umpiring baseball so my life has been full of seeds. But the salt is not good for my BP.

I also played baseball for sixteen years, so they were part of my childhood, teen and college years. On another note, I have a few friends who practice raw foodism. While it isn't the diet for me they do some very tasty things based primarily on sunflower seeds.

It's that mouth full of saliva that forms while the seeds and shells are in your mouth that is the true reward.

I coach basbeall so I eat them often but I hate the original ones...too salty. bar b q and ranch are good but I can't get on board with the new dill pickle flavor. They came out with honey roasted for a few months and it was great. I wish they hadn't got rid of it. I have found the best use of them is to keep me awake when I'm driving long distance...gives me something to do.

I love em... just the salted one's ..Tried the BBQ and Salsa did not care for them....We eat a lot at the tent sale when we are at the county fairgrounds...David &Son...Or California Jumbo's

Baseball/Softball player. Seed chewer. I usedx to dip, chew, or use bandits while playing. Been doing plain seeds moreso recently. The flavored ones aren't necessary, i feel.

I also chew pumpkin seeds as a change of pace.

sunflower seeds are good but the salt from the shell can get to me after a little while. Still the best way to pass time in a dugout, though

David's are way too salty for me. Half a bag in and my mouth is torn apart like I just ate four rolls of sweet-tarts. I like Spitz seasoned. The dill pickle flavor sucks but the seasoned is perfect. I've been eating them by the bag since I'm trying to quit smoking. Is it ok if I spit the shells on a Mini-golf course? Putt putt is far less frustrating and I don't have to walk as far with my tar beaten lungs.
